Wwaterboy
Yeah, I had an absolute hellish time the past few days. Even 2.5 mg is just too much. I basically was manic. I can't get back on Paxil. It's just too much. I definitely had akithesia and burning sensations. 2000: Between 10 - 20 mg for over 17 years. March 2018: Paxil free. Wwaterboy
I should be taking it in the morning because it's absolutely a stimulant right now. It's funny, I always took it at night, and maybe that's why I had such a hard time sleeping all the time? Doctors are so clueless about how these drugs actually work. 2000: Between 10 - 20 mg for over 17 years. March 2018: Paxil free. connaught45
I'm so sorry to hear about your sister, and what you and your family have gone through. That's absolutely terrible. " Do the other SSRI's give you such bad insomnia when you reinstate? " I think it affects people differently. I've been on two different SSRIs in my lifetime and both made me sleep longer and deeper (e.g. not being able to wake up to a loud alarm). But I've heard other people say it causes insomnia. I think it's safe to say SSRIs impact sleep and it just depends on the person if that causes extreme drowsiness or insomnia. Wwaterboy
I have no history with Prozac. The drinking is completely done as of NOW. That can only add to my cortisol, which I believe I'm going through some alcohol withdrawal with this as well. I think I used it for so long with Paxil because, alcohol is basically dopamine, and I was overloaded with serotonin so WAMMO. 2000: Between 10 - 20 mg for over 17 years. March 2018: Paxil free. Yes, the panic can be quite intense when in a wave. I’ve woken up in terror many times, but it’s no good focusing on it. We just have to ride it out and distract ourselves. Alcohol isn’t a good idea, or caffeine as they affect your central nervous system and they can make your symptoms worse, especially if you’re in a wave.
