Asta Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 (edited) Good day I would like to hear sincere advice. I started taking Cipralex 10 mg after an uterus myomas operation for severe headaches. When I started taking this medicine, I had a serious side effect, I suffered from it and thought it should be. Insomnia occurs, there was high anxiety, inequality, headache, nausea, dizziness. It all lasted about six weeks. Five months later, with the permission of a doctor, I try to stop taking medication, but this is almost impossible. High anxiety and fear (it was not against drug abuse). The burning body, headache and whole body, the doctor does not know what to do. I do not need to take drugs for 10 days. Please advise what to do, how can I overcome these exclusion cases? How long will it last?start to understand why many people take medication for a long time, it is not possible to stop them directly, and feel less well off than before taking medication. When I reduced my medication, I took 5 mg for one month, then in a week at 2.5 mg and I completely stopped. Now I'm taking vitamin c, b vitamins, minerals, omega 3. My doctor's only advice is to go back to medicine. I also go to psychotherapy, KET.If you did not have depression before taking medication, then such a terrible symptom might really occur. Administrator Altostrata Posted August 12, 2018 Administrator Posted August 12, 2018 Welcome, Asta. I am sorry you have had these adverse reactions and your doctor kept you on this drug. If I were you, I would take 1mg Cipralex immediately. This topic explains how to take a small amount Tips for tapering off Lexapro (escitalopram) Your doctor may be able to order the liquid form, or you can make your own with water. A small amount may be all that's needed to stop withdrawal symptoms. You would stay on 1mg for some time and then taper off by tiny amounts later. Please let us know how you're doing. Let's say I'm in a car, I want to escape from there, it's still sad. And it is clear that it's never going to end ... There were no symptoms before using the medication. When I speak to my doctor, I do not hear anything else as you grow medicine. They said nobody was abstinence from such small doses. Asta Posted August 25, 2018 Author Posted August 25, 2018 Hello, I am sorry to write to translator. I took Cipralex for 5 months. When I reduced my medication, I took 5 mg for one month, then in a week at 2,5 mg and I completely stopped. Now it is been 4 weeks since I did not use Cipralex. I feel little better, but anxiety does not stop (before he was not), such a feeling of unpleasant feeling in the chest, three nights worse sleep. I also sometimes feel an air shortage, muscle pain, mood changes, shaking. Today started to feel nauseous, headache. I used Tritico 75 mg in the evening, because when I started taking Cipralex, insomnia occurred. Share your experience when it all ends? Is it normal that these symptoms do not ends after one month? My doctor does not say anything else, just go back to the medicine, because the disease returned. I say that I did not have such a symptom when I started taking drugs, she saying that symptoms are changing, and there is no abstinence symptoms from a short consumption and low dose. When I started taking medication, the outsiders were horrible, and then for the firs time I got to know such a terrible anxiety. All symptoms last 6 weeks. After such a long distress symptoms can really get sick. Do not understand what is going on with you, start thinking, or maybe it is really a disease. But wake up and remember that it was not before taking medication... Administrator Altostrata Posted August 28, 2018 Administrator Posted August 28, 2018 Asta, you have withdrawal syndrome. Read this: On 8/12/2018 at 2:45 PM, Altostrata said: If I were you, I would take 1mg Cipralex immediately. Asta Posted August 28, 2018 Author Posted August 28, 2018 (edited) I do not have liquid, just pills. Could this be such an abstinence after a short time of use? Can I expect it to pass if I do not go back to medicine? I'm afraid I will again drink medicines, or anything like that, after a month I will return to medicine again? Administrator Altostrata Posted August 28, 2018 Administrator Posted August 28, 2018 Asta, if your doctor orders the prescription liquid for you, please ask your pharmacist to explain to you how to take it. The strength is on the label. You will need to read Tips for tapering off Lexapro (escitalopram) carefully so you understand what you're doing. This is not medical advice. Moderator Emeritus manymoretodays Posted August 30, 2018 Moderator Emeritus Posted August 30, 2018 (edited) Hi Asta, Triticco is coming up as Trazadone. And Cipralex is escitalopram here in the U.S. The brand name here is Lexapro. We do need to know all of your drugs that you are presently on. We also need for you to do a signature. This is the portion that you may see below each members post.......unless you are posting and reading from a phone device. Then you won't be able to see signatures. Please put your withdrawal history in a signature If your drug history is very long, the last few years will do. FOR READABILITY, SHORT LINES ARE BEST. A list is easier to understand than one or multiple paragraphs Include ALL drugs, doses, and dates (starting and stopping) Any drugs prior to 24 months ago can just be listed with start and stop years Please use actual dates or approximate dates (e.g. mid-June) rather than relative time frames (e.g. 3 months ago) Spell out months (e.g. "January" or "Jan" as 9/1/2016 can be interpreted as 9 Jan 2016 or 1 Sept 2016) Please leave out symptoms and diagnoses I often use a site drugs.com to check medications quickly now........before I agree to any prescriptions. I think you should look at the drug interactions report there and then, if you can, go ahead and copy the results here to your page. drugs.com Your Triticco or Trazodone will need to be carefully tapered off in the future. It's really not a good drug, in my opinion, for sleep or to elevate ones mood(often used as an AD-antidepressant). Tips for tapering off trazodone Have you given any consideration to reinstating just a small amount of Cipralex/escitalopram? Please review the previous posts from Altostrata. If I were you......I would at least consider this option after a review of the information. Then let us know what you have decided.About reinstating and stabilizing to reduce withdrawal symptoms reinstatement is the only know medical treatment for alleviation of withdrawal syndrome. Tips for tapering off Lexapro(escitalopram) This ^ will help you, or your helper figure out how to take a very small dose of escitalopram. And here is what we have on sleep problems secondary to withdrawal: Tips to help sleep- so many of us have that awful withdrawal insomnia I hope you can get some rest and relax a bit, Love, peace, healing, and growth, mmt Edited August 30, 2018 by manymoretodays Late 2023- gone to emeritus status, inactive, don't @ me, I can check who I've posted on, and I'm not really here like I used to be......thanks. Started with psycho meds/psychiatric care circa 1988. In retrospect, and on contemplation, situational overwhelm. Rounding up to 30 years of medications(30 medication trials, poly-pharmacy maximum was 3 at one time). 5/28/2015-off Adderal salts 2.5mg. (I had been on that since hospital 10/2014) 12/2015---just holding, holding, holding, with trileptal/oxcarb at 75 mg. 1/2 tab at hs. My last psycho med ever! Tapered @ 10% every 4 weeks, sometimes 2 weeks to 2016 Dec 16, medication free!! Longer signature post here, with current supplements. Herb and alcohol free since 5/15/2016. Leo1983 Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 Oh Jeeez is that what that is?? Trazadone?. Oh Astra this is what can be causing your anxiety also and the sleep disturbance. Trazadone is awful to withdraw from. It too is an antidepressant. So you have stopped 1 and started another. Some of your other symptoms could be from the trazadone you recently started. You need some support to get off all of these meds. May 2016 - Aug 2016 - Prozac 20mg March 2017 - June 2017 - Sertraline 100mg. Horrific withdrawal 5 m onths. Asta Posted August 30, 2018 Author Posted August 30, 2018 (edited) Leo, I started escitolopram on March 17th, I did not sleep completely from these drugs. March 28 I started Trazodon for sleep and I've got it up to now. Of course I want to throw it. There is no help in my country, only everybody proposes to increase the dose.
