Justice
Paxil admin early this year and supposedly caused hypomania after a few weeks .....stayed on for 3 months and was fine ..went off for two months with no side effects because supposedly I was still in hypomania ..noticed anger and irratbiloty symptoms after 2 months so started again and. The first week was the usually high stress mode but this time did not subside ..doctor detected bipolar ..but never told me to get off drug ..had to wait 6 weeks to see pdoc ..been on lithium for 4 weeks ..first two weeks I was numb ..but after two weeks my emotional were allowed back in and I have bad anxiety worse then before and depressive moods..think I may have delayed withdrawal from Paxil ..doctor said lithium and seroquel definitely don’t cause this Link to comment

Administrator Altostrata Posted October 20, 2020 Administrator Share Posted October 20, 2020 Hello, Justice. Having an adverse reaction to an antidepressant is not diagnostic for bipolar disorder. We do need your recent drug history, as ChessieCat has requested twice. This is not medical advice. Discuss any decisions about your medical care with a knowledgeable medical practitioner.
