WoundedBird Posted September 20, 2022 Posted September 20, 2022 Hi I hope anybody here could help I had an adverse reaction to zoloft 5 month ago to 2 pills after cold turkey 7 month ago and decided to reinstate because of withdrawals but reaction happened and I panicked and stopped I became anhedonic with brain fog and strong dp/Dr for the last 4 month and devolped severe ocd and started researching all the time for way to recover started reading theories and obssesing about them but about a month ago I had a strong reaction to drinking cup of kefir which put me into wave it was the first time for me to go into a wave/window route because after that cup of kefir I was losing it for about a week and half where my initial symptoms worsend drastically but then experienced a 4day window they were not perfect but it was awesome feeling there was hope but after that for about about 2 weeks I had whole new symptoms which came out of nowhere [anxiety-akathsia-shaking-migranes-head pressure-nerve pain-dark depression-intrusive thoughts] always followed by 3 hour window at the end of each day where I calmed down and actually felt the anhedonia was lifting cause I was feeling again in those tiny windows but then the symptoms got worse and the windows started to become weaker and I started panicking and started obsessing again about theories I read about a sufferer that treated himself by taking b12 shots and I decided what would I lose it is just a vitamin and 2 days ago I took a b12 shot and these past 2 days were hell even worse than my intial reaction to pills extreme apathy and anhedonia returned I feel like I ruined everything and the progress I reached I am now suffering from an awful heat in my brain like it's on fire I have to constantly put my head under cold water for relief, extreme apathy+ anhedonia, awful brain fog, loss of appetite and insomnia I can't sleep and panicking and thinking of ending my life!! Moderator Frogie Posted September 22, 2022 Moderator Posted September 22, 2022 (edited) @WoundedBird Welcome to SA. We are a volunteer ran site helping people taper off psychiatric medications or have tapered off and are now healing. This is your introduction page where you will receive information, ask questions and meet other members. We ask that you only have one introduction page so we can keep all your information in one place. Please add a signature. Include drugs, doses, dates, and discontinuations & reinstatements in the last 12-24 months. Also include supplements. This will help us give you the most accurate advice we can. Any drugs and supplements prior to 24 months ago can just be listed with start and stop years. Please use actual dates or approximate dates (mid-June, Late October) rather than relative time frames (last week, 3 months ago) Spell out months, e.g. "October" or "Oct."; 9/1/2016 can be interpreted as Jan. 9, 2016 or Sept. 1, 2016. Please leave out symptoms and diagnoses. A list is easier to understand than one or multiple paragraphs. This is a direct link to your signature: Account Settings – Create or Edit a signature. Because you had an adverse reaction to the Zoloft, not once, but twice, I would not try and reinstate that. You will heal, but no one knows how long it may take. Moderator Frogie Posted September 25, 2022 Moderator Posted September 25, 2022 (edited) @WoundedBird I think time and doing non-drug coping things, showers, magnesium baths, meditation and time at this point for the b12 to get out of your system. I wouldn't start another medication at this time, unless you think it is an emergency but even then I would be hesitate if it were me. I will remove the Diazepam from your page. Your bad reaction to B12 probably will take a week or so to settle out. 2 hours ago, WoundedBird said: i had window for a day when symptoms eased little my inner restlesness eased and i could sit still and relax and actually enjoyed a meal with my family You took too much B12 at once. After your system settles down, I suggest you start with a tiny crumb of a tablet and very gradually increase over a couple of months. We are strong advocates of common sense here.
