Badi Posted October 7, 2022 Author Posted October 7, 2022 I am 37 years old and currently in a post-weaning period of 5 years and 6 months, Here is my story: I went to the emergency room because I was not sleeping anymore, I was always waking up in a state of shock, the emergency room gave me deroxat 20 and trenxen 10, I didn't know that I had severe sleep apnea, I took these drugs for 15 days and then stopped them straight away and was very ill for a year and then my doctor gave me seroplex 5 to try and fix it and I took it for 6 months and stopped it for 2 months and then I started to have lots of terrible symptoms, everything a human can have in terms of symptoms I had,, I had a lot of symptoms, including irrational fears, one of the worst symptoms, and then it calmed down, even though I still had a lot of symptoms, like strange sensations, sort of uneasiness, etc. I was able to live, and then, after about 3 years, that is to say, in my 5th year and 5 months, all the symptoms that had been gone for a long time came back,, I have irrational fears, electric pain in my ears and head, growing anxiety, aches all over my body, derealizations, big nervous spasms, ears like blocked, tinnitus, I have words in my head that tell me incoherent sentences when I fall asleep and when I wake up and then nothing, septembre 2016 deroxat 20mg et trenxen 10mg 15 jours Et finition brutal octobre 2017 séroplex 5mg (six mois) Finish drogues avril 2017 (one month)
Moderator Emeritus manymoretodays Posted October 7, 2022 Moderator Emeritus Posted October 7, 2022 (edited) Hi there Badi and welcome, Thank you so much for re-formatting, and using a translator to post. I take it that French is your primary language. I think you are asking if there are people who are still in some phase of WD(withdrawal) after 5 years and 6 months? And yes, there are people who are still healing/recovering for 5 years and 6 months after their last dose of psychotropic medications. We would expect that there would be some improvement noted in that time. We often see stabilization occur in: The Windows and Waves Pattern of Stabilization(click on the underlined passage to go to the topic) So you might be experiencing a Wave right now. Some of your symptoms described do sound like WD symptoms. See: Dr. Joseph Glenmullen's withdrawal symptoms checklist You can download a copy of that list, from the link to the PDF How did you taper off or come off of your drugs mentioned? You can answer that in a reply box. You'll see one, below this post when you read it. Deroxat we recognize as paroxetine. Trenxen, as tranxene or clorazepate(a benzo). Seroplex as escitalopram. Please work on your signature next. Here is that link on how to do a signature again. This is different from the confidential information that you provided on registration(your profile). And, this will provide a time frame, or times when you took the drugs(medications) that you mention. I am very interested to see/know that. Once done, your signature will be shown below all your posts and provide an easy reference for all who read your posts, as to the drugs you've been on and off, and when. How to Summarize Your Drug History in Your Signature and here, I'll go ahead and copy over what you'll need to understand to do a signature, and also there is another link below, that will take you to where you create your signature. Please remember to select SAVE when done. And thank you. The staff needs this information to answer your questions. In your signature, we need to see - Exactly what drugs you're taking now (not just psychiatric drugs), with dosages and when you started each drug - What you were taking before, with dosages and start and stop dates As the signature is limited to 12 lines, we expect you to condense your drug history. The last few years usually will do. FOR READABILITY, SHORT LINES ARE BEST. A list is easier to understand than one or multiple paragraphs Include ALL drugs, doses, and dates (starting and stopping) Any drugs prior to 24 months ago can just be listed with start and stop years Use actual dates or approximate dates (e.g. mid-June 2018) rather than relative time frames (e.g. 3 months ago) Spell out months (e.g. "January" or "Jan" as 9/1/2016 can be interpreted as 9 Jan 2016 or 1 Sept 2016) Please leave out symptoms and diagnoses Example: 2001–2002 paroxetine 2003 citalopram 2004 paroxetine 2008 paroxetine slow taper down to 2016 Aug off paroxetine 2016 citalopram May 20mg Oct slow taper down 2018 citalopram 13 Feb 4.6mg 15 Mar 4.4mg 29 Apr 4.2mg If you edit your signature, the new one replaces any prior signature. It will appear in your signature under all your posts, even your old posts. If you want to save the information in the old signature, copy it and save it in a file on your computer or in a post in your Introductions topic. (As of 12/31/13: Signatures are limited to 12 lines of text.)How to add or edit your signature Click on this link to open the correct page in User Settings:Create Your Signature in "Account Settings". 2017-June 12 update: link works on desktop, tablet and mobile phone versions This is your introduction/journal page where you have now introduced yourself to the community, you can ask questions here regarding your tapering, give updates, communicate, and keep a record of your journey. Post right here for now. Bookmark the page so you can easily find it. Best. Moderator Emeritus manymoretodays Posted October 8, 2022 Moderator Emeritus Posted October 8, 2022 Hi Badi, How long have the various terrible symptoms continued? A time frame? Like 6 months, 3 months? What kind of symptoms are you having? I see you mention brain feels blocked and difficult to do things. Any other descriptions of symptoms at present? Have you had any medical work-ups to rule out other illnesses? Or has any doctor told you of a diagnosis? I am so sorry to hear of your present difficulties. And that they led to you being out of work. Makes me very sad. Badi Posted October 8, 2022 Author Posted October 8, 2022 I had resumed sports etc. my Blood tests are very good, brain scan too and brain Irm too so the doctors do not understand why I am very bad but I saw several doctors who do not want to hear about prolonged withdrawal,,, I'm sure that's it because I have all the same symptoms as when I stopped the medication, it's been back for almost 2 months, I have palpitations, electricity in my head and ears, tinnitus, voices when I fall asleep, sweating, dry mouth, strange sensations in my brain, sensory difficulties, the impression that I am not myself, the impression of having a helmet on my head, nervous spasms, skin that moves by itself, irrational fears, sadness, several unpleasant sensations impossible to describe, the impression to be drugged whereas I do not drink I do not smoke and that since 2017 I have not touched a drug, then several symptoms I have stopped the sport since because I cannot do it any more and it seems that I have lost the desire,, I really fell back into hell when I had almost nothing, just dice kind of discomfort from time to time and blows of ju in the head but furtive, septembre 2016 deroxat 20mg et trenxen 10mg 15 jours Et finition brutal octobre 2017 séroplex 5mg (six mois) Finish drogues avril 2017 (one month)
Moderator Emeritus manymoretodays Posted October 10, 2022 Moderator Emeritus Posted October 10, 2022 That is good to hear Badi. That tests were all good. I am hoping that this Wave then is on it's way out. And soon. I'm so sorry. How is your sleep now? Some topics that relate to your symptoms, you might find some non-drug coping in those topics too. Here is our: Symptoms and Self Care forum you can also get there from the Home Page, where you'll see how the site is laid out. Heart pounding(but not racing) Irregular heartbeats, palpitations, tachycardia, bradycardia Brain zaps Tinnitus: What does all that noise mean? Derealization or Depersonalization(DR and DP) Neuroemotions I don't think I covered all symptoms you mentioned. You can also search, on site, from the box up at the right hand corner. Or when off site, use your favorite browser and type in: survivingantidepressants.org and then the topic of interest Let us know too, what you have already found that might help another with similar symptoms, either here or in the appropriate topic. You can use the google translator too, especially if just reading here. Hopefully the translation makes sense. Keep us updated Badi please. And when comfortable doing so, go offer support to some of the other members. That can help so much.
