Kippaxlady
Hi. Thanks for accepting me. I’m 51 and female. UK based I took Zoloft 50mg for anxiety for over four years. A year ago I dropped it to 25mg with no issues. Three weeks ago, I stopped Zoloft altogether. Symptoms:- Headaches Insomnia Itching Brainfog Vertigo irritability Can you help advise me. I work full time in a busy, corporate job and this is quite debilitating. After three weeks of no tablets do I go back on 25mg or a lower dose? I don’t know what to do. I’m waiting to get an appointment with my gp, it could be weeks away. Thanks Edited July 4, 2023 by manymoretodays name: Link to comment

Administrator Altostrata Posted July 7, 2023 Administrator Share Posted July 7, 2023 Welcome, @Kippaxlady I understand these symptoms have not gotten better over the last 3 weeks. Low-dose reinstatement, perhaps 10mg, might relieve this. See What is withdrawal syndrome? About reinstating and stabilizing to reduce withdrawal symptoms The Windows and Waves Pattern of Stabilization You may wish to get prescription sertraline liquid to take a small dose. You'd stabilize for some months, than taper off much more gradually later.
