Moderator FireflyFyte Posted October 7, 2023 Moderator Share Posted October 7, 2023 Hi Raelene, Welcome to SA. Please summarize your drug history in your signature by following the guidelines at How to Summarize Your Drug History in Your Signature. You may need to be on a computer to complete this. We recommend dropping no more than 10% per month of the previous dose to try and minimize withdrawal symptoms. You can read more about why we suggest this amount at Why taper by 10% of my dosage? 3 hours ago, Raelene said: Reinstated last night at 2.5.In a fortnight he wants me to drop to 1.25.I have decided to say no and do 10 per cent a month from 2.5mg.What is the lowest you can get to 0 at a compound chemist I would wait longer than two weeks to see if you stabilize on the reinstatement. If you start feeling better, I would hold for at least a month, if not two, before beginning a 10% per month of the previous dose taper. I am not sure of the amounts that are available via a compounding chemist but you can consider making your own liquid solution and using that to taper so you can get down to doses such as 0.2mg and 0.1mg.
