Hello all. I am currently off Sertraline for 8 weeks.  I have had consistent tingling in legs and feet. Wondering when this will go away and what I can do to help relieve it.  Also 10 days ago my tailbone/butt gets sore when sitting....(the first day this occurred my legs started tingling up to my butt). Ugh. Thinking about acupuncture? Anyone else? advice or thoughts? I appreciate being a part of this forum.

Took Sertraline for 6 weeks and one day, started end of June 2023.

50 mg. For 2 weeks.

100 mg. (Thanks to my uninformed gp) for 4 days. 50 mg for 3 days.

25 mg for 7 days.

Taper from. 25 mg by cutting pill. 3/4 for 3 days. 1/2 for 3 days. 1/4 for 2 days.

Acute withdrawal when tapering down.

Last dose August 13, 2023.

Hi @gorgecat and welcome to SA,

These sound like very typical withdrawal symptoms. They should start to slowly fade with time. Please take a look through The Windows and Waves Pattern of Stabilization to see what you might expect from your symptom pattern.

You could look through the below topic to see others' experiences with "tingling" and other sensations.

How long were you on sertraline? Could you please provide us with a drug signature. See How to Create a Signature

You could certainly try acupuncture - I found it to be quite relaxing for my nervous system.

Please have a look around the site and let us know if you have any further questions.

Once again, welcome :)
