Radhasoami Posted October 15, 2023 Posted October 15, 2023 Hi. I’m a 25 YO male from Mumbai, India. This is my drug history: Nov - Dec 2020 - Sertraline 50 MG April - July 2021 - Paroxetine 25 MG May - Sep 2022 - Sertraline 150 MG I stopped cold turkey on all 3 occasions. Now it’s been 12 months since my last dose (of Sertraline 150 MG). I can’t take basic decisions or perform everyday tasks. I can’t concentrate/work. Smallest of things can trigger me. I have mood swings and cannot function at all. I feel like I don’t want to live. Would you advise to reinstate? Please advise. Administrator Altostrata Posted October 19, 2023 Administrator Posted October 19, 2023 Welcome, @Radhasoami As you probably know, cold turkey of an antidepressant can result in bad withdrawal symptoms, and you may have protracted withdrawal from going sertraline in September 2022, or even from cold turkey of your prior drugs. You might try reinstating 5mg sertraline to see if that helps. There are no guarantees. Sertraline comes in a prescription liquid.
