lockedlost
Hi so basically I was forced aripiprazole in the hospital followed by risperidone 5mg. Basically I was trying hard not to take it because I knew its dangers, so my dose was all over. In the ward one day I had to take 5mg, next day I.maybe partially swallowed some so maybe 2mg, next day 0mg. I really didn't want or need it but they forced me and threatened injections. Right now I have quit cold turkey risperidone and my head has been absolutely battered. I have permanent headaches, confusion, anhedonia, unable to think straight, vision issues, unable to sleep, feeling completely braindead. I have no idea what I can do or take to help. I have been off this drug for around 3 weeks but nothing gets better. My brain also burns intensely all the time. I noticed coffee makes me feel even worse too. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks for reading Aripiprazole 2mg 2nd February- 15th February. Risperidone 5mg 15th February- 10th June (cold turkied) Link to comment

Moderator Erimus Posted July 29 Moderator Share Posted July 29 (edited) Reinstatement of a small dose would be the most sensible. A dose of 0.25-0.5mg would be an appropriate reinstatement dose. If you can't get hold of a prescription, or are not willing to reinstate, all you can do is wait for your nervous system to heal. This will take many weeks and months, and be very challenging.
