SandyLou
Hi members, I’m hoping to find the information required to taper off fluoxetine at 10mg after 6 weeks use. I started fluoxetine on the 13 Aug 2024 and have had no success with it helping my anxiety issues. If anything I feel worse for taking it. I spoke to my dr and she advised to take it every other day until my appointment with her in the 27 Sept 2024 and then she would review were I go from there. I feel that I need to taper even though it’s been a short period of use. Any help in how to taper would be greatly appreciated. I had a bad experience back in 2013 when I came off benzodiazepines too quickly and definitely do not want a repeat of the nasty side effects. Link to comment
