Hopeful88 Posted October 9, 2024 Posted October 9, 2024 (edited) Hi, Just looking for some encouragement. I have rolled with the withdrawal for the last six weeks since weaning off Lexapro (last dose six weeks ago). Dealt with symptoms pretty well since I felt things were improving as the time went by. Then last week, some pins and needles in big toes and the last few days, the pins and needles climb from my feet to calves. It’s not constant but is present 75% of the time. Could this be withdrawal? I’m crying more too but I think I’m just exhausted from this endless drama of focusing on how I feel. Any feedback would be so appreciated. My doctor thinks all withdrawal symptoms should be gone by now. Thank you! Administrator Emonda Posted October 10, 2024 Administrator Posted October 10, 2024 Welcome, @Hopeful88 Can you add some more detail to your signature about your taper, please. The dates you made changes and the corresponding dose would be great. 12 hours ago, Hopeful88 said: Then last week, some pins and needles in big toes and the last few days, the pins and needles climb from my feet to calves. Have you read this: Daily Checklist of Antidepressant Withdrawal Symptoms (PDF) . Can you relate to some of the items on the list? 12 hours ago, Hopeful88 said: My doctor thinks all withdrawal symptoms should be gone by now. Simply not true! Hopeful88 Posted October 10, 2024 Author Posted October 10, 2024 Reposting since I updated my signature. I know I must have tapered way too fast and I’m wondering if I hold out if this will improve. Just strange symptoms overall. It’s like one eases and another pops up. It will help others who look at your topic. Moderators will want to know the dates you took 2.5mg for 3 weeks, rather than having to scan back over your posts to work it out. So your last dose of 2.5mg was roughly 1 September? 11 hours ago, Hopeful88 said: I know I must have tapered way too fast Yep, that's way too fast. 11 hours ago, Hopeful88 said: I’m wondering if I hold out if this will improve. Have you read the reinstating/kindling links I gave you. WD can get pretty tough. If someone chooses to reinstate, it is best within the first 3 months. If this is something you want to consider, reinstating less is best. That is, start very low and see how you go. Please don't send me PMs. I am not a doctor.
