  10. Hi all, I’ve been tapering off of my drugs for a few months now and am finding that I need a local support group to help me through. I am bursting with information on this whole thing and am definitely wearing my family, friends, and boyfriend down with it all 😬. I am feeling alone and overwhelmed by the zeitgeist that is mental illness. Is there anyone that would like to meet for a cup of coffee one day? Thanks and sincerely, Breanne

  15. Hi all, I hope it is appropriate to ask this question here (on behalf of a relative). Just wondering if it is possible for an elderly person (age 76) to have a severe withdrawal reaction from citalopram (I think the brand name was Talam) when she only took it for a few weeks, and the reaction only got really bad after one or two months (sorry I can't be more specific at the moment with the timeframes). She is experiencing severe nausea, weakness and inability to concentrate (eg when reading). Also some dizziness. She is getting very concerned and thinks it might be a coerisol/adrenal issue due

Because this process sucks up most of my energy (and the meds have actually led to several depressive episodes over the last 5 years), I have found myself very isolated and withdrawn from friends and family. This is mostly my fault as I seem to be unable to muster the motivation and energy to stay connected. But the other side of it that I don't feel that I can be authentic with how I am feeling with people that haven't experienced this process, so I tend to stay out of touch and say as litt
