Hello. I might make another small cut soon even though I cut on the 6th. This last cut only produced light wd. I realize the cuts accumulate but I believe it will be okay. Mirt w/d seems to hit 4/5 after cut and then again at 3 weeks. I'm just sitting around the house mostly these days anyways. A few more days and I'll go down .15 mg Mirt. I will then be at 5.30 mg. I am beginning to notice that some cuts are easier than others. Anyone else experience this with Mirt?

Hello. I made my cut last night of .15 mg. I am down to 5.45 mg Mirt. I like this pattern of cutting. I cut .15 mg every 3 weeks. I feel some w/d but it gone by the end of the 3 weeks. I get some wind

It's all liquid from now on. The half pill doesn't agree with me anymore. I'll wait a week and start the taper with no more than 5% a month (2.5% every two weeks) and see how it goes.   I ca

Hello folks. I read something interesting about Mirt tapering when you get down to the really low doses. A woman said she was down to 1.85 mg. She decided to take the 1.85 an hour after she got up in

Hello everyone. This is just an update on my tapering. Three nights ago I went down by .15 Mirt to 5.30 Mirt. This cut has given me more muscle aches in hip/butt area and I feel a bit weirded out in the mornings. It's not that bad but it's time to stop cutting for a few weeks and let everything catch up. I want the taper to be tolerable. By the end of May I should be in the 4's. I look forward to that for sure. I do feel more and more alert as I lower my dose. It's subtle but it definitely adds up on each taper. Be well everyone. Marie.

Ugh, stress really ramps up mirt w/d for me. Family member got his wallet stolen while on vacation thousand of miles away. I'm 12 days away from my last cut. I guess I'm angry too at the situation and it does not help. I guess I have to just wait it out and this too will pass. Be well everyone. Marie.

Well I stabilized after the stress from family member's theft for a few days.  Today I'm having jaw/toothneck/shoulder pain on my right side. Some of it is from recent dental work that's taking longer to heal, but the Mirt withdrawal is hitting it, intensifying it. Makes sense, with Mirt you get hit twice, once at the beginning of the cut, the other a few weeks later. Screw Mirt.

Hello everyone. I'm stabilizing again. The pollens are high where I live and it effects the histamine balance that Mirt messes with, so getting a bit wavy happens during this season. I also cut more than usual. I will be holding my dose a bit more, but then will be cutting .15 mg and later in the month .16 mg. This will put me at 4.99 mg, which will be very nice. Getting the liquid Mirt was a godsend. It makes it so easy. My doctor does not know I'm tapering, but I will tell him when I'm off. I won't tell him I used liquid, because he did not write the script. I don't want him to get in a huff, since he did not want to give me a liquid script. It's too bad, he could help a lot of patients get off their AD with a liquid. Be well everyone. Marie.

Hello. Just updating my tapering journey. I'm getting hit with chemical depression in the morning. It's just so predictable I find it boring. It lifts in the afternoon.

On a positive note, I find it easier to do things in the morning, like run errands. Previously I felt like I couldn't, like it was just so hard to do for some reason. I would do more stuff in the afternoons. The dose is making me feel a bit lighter without the mind/body heaviness I've felt. This side effect is lessening so I see this getting better and better as I taper. Will cut soon. Good luck everyone and stay safe. Marie.
