Peace & love, DC. 1997 - 2001 Seroxat 10mg 2001 - 2013 Escitalopram 10mg Gradual taper from 10mg to 5mg over 2.5 years (between 2011 - 2013) Last taper from 5mg to 0 under advice from doctor done in 1 month (too damn fast!) - included missing out days. Have been drug free since Oct 2013. - Yep 5 years drugs free Link to comment

I’m 7 months into my taper and this last few weeks have been especially hard. I read stories like yours and get a lot of encouragement from it. I’ve had a few more windows these last few days so hopefully my brain has healed a little bit more. Your sharing surely does help. Please keep coming back and update. Things are still kicking on at an even keel, so I have no gripes to be concerned with. Life is just as stressful at times, but I can definitely deal with those stressors a lot better than I could 6 years ago. I hope you all continue on your own personal journeys and will find peace and happiness as you progress. The UK lockdown in March / April gave me a bit of a wobble, but I was soon coping (which wouldn't have happened in the past) so I definitely know now that my healing capability has returned.
