Rain Posted February 12, 2018 Author Share Posted February 12, 2018 Some Updates: I cut my dosage about 12 days ago, so no surprise, at about 3 days after cutting, I feel symptoms hit and 8th to 10th days were the peak. This time symptoms are include: Restless, anxiety, heart palps, stomach issues, OCD thoughts, insomnia. Hopefully I will be better soon... And hope everyone is fine! Rain 2006 October Zoloft 50mg for anxiety. 2013 March Lexapro 10mg for 18 months to 2015 September. 2015 September increased to 20mg for 7 weeks but getting worse. 3rd November dropped back to 10mg 2016 11th November taper to 9mg 2017 3rd March Taper to 8.8mg, then Fast taper start: 10th-8.6mg, 12th-8.2mg, 17th-8.0mg, 22rd-7.7mg, 27th-7.4mg. April 2nd- 6.9mg (WD start), 19th-6.5mg. Failed one day Cymbalta trial, took back Lexapro, much worse Akathisia torture. Keep holding. May 22nd- 6.3mg, June 10th- 5.7mg, Nov- 4.4mg, Dec- 4.3mg, 2018 Jan- 4.1mg Link to comment

Came down to .25mg morning and evening. May 1, 2017 Clonazepam .25mg morning and .125mg evening. // May 20, 2017 Clonazepam .25mg morning and .0625 evening (.3125 total). early June .28125 // early mid june .25mg // mid june .21875 // late june .1875 // early july .15625 // early mid july .125 mid july .09375mg // late july .0625 //early August 2017 down to .03125mg once a day, hopped off in mid August reinstated at .0625mg late August // Oct 16 - updose to .07mg and switch to oral Rosemont solution Nov 17 2017 reinstate Prozac .5mg // Nov 21 2017 prozac 1.6mg // Dec 18 2017 3mg prozac / fast taper off the reinstatement -- probably completely off early Oct 2018 June 2019 begin tapering off .07mg Clonazepam, Finish taper December 2019 Link to comment

Sadly I CTed, I hope you are beginning to feel a bit better these days. Take care Lexapro Fast Track/ Cold Turkey Last dose end Dec 2018 Tapered 1/2 a daily dose a week (20mg) for 14 weeks, last dose was a 20 mg pill!! 3.5 times slower than Psychiatrist recommended, I felt proud of myself!! Little did I know!!!!Got too scared to reinstate because I’d left it too long. On ADs for 20 years (Prozac approx 10 years/ Pristiq approx 3 years/ Citalipram approx 2 years/. Lexapro a approx 5 years/. Last two years 40mgs Lexapro day. Link to comment

Take care Hello bheb and Katy: So Sorry about my late reply! Now I am still having some symptoms here and there. I failed to swtich the Citalopram instead of Lexapro about 2 years ago, I took Citalopram for 13 days to see if I can switch to it as I might easier to taper Citalopram easier in the future. Unfortunately I had to reinstate the Lexapro at full dose due to the extreme Lexapro withdrawal symptoms. It took me about 3 months to get out of the hell. After that I keep taking 10mg of Lexapro for a year till the Vitamin D reactions. I was so itchy and fatigue that time, it slowly lessend and gone by 1.5 month. But nerves system seems not stable since then, I guess it was because I was sensitized again. Then I starterd tapper Lexapro again started about April 2020. Now I am at 6.87mg of Lexapro. Hopefully I can get stabilized soon. Hope you are all doing well and happy new year!
