Prohealer: Hello, peoples opinions on my situation?

Hi Grace.

I realise maybe I overcomplicated the description of that theory lol but basically, yeah. I just feel maybe parts of my brain that were meant to grow didn’t.

I agree completely, even though food can be a big crutch for me at times, but I'm a lot better than I used to be and I feel I’ve got the rest under control. There are still things that keep me smiling.

I sincerely hope so, sometimes I’m not so sure but for the most part I do believe my brain will keep healing.

Thank you so much for the hopeful words, I almost teared up reading that last part.

2009: Put on Fluoxetine (20mg) and Risperdal (0.5mg) for OCD. Dose was increased a few weeks later to 40mg Fluoxetine and 1mg Risperdal.

2011: Began experiencing Depersonalisation and Visual Snow, general loss of energy and breast growth. Was kept on 40mg Fluoxetine until Late Dec 2015. Risperdal dosage varied and was kept on 0.5mg for a long while before Nov 2015.

Early Sep 2015: Began having symptoms of extreme anxiety, psychosis and hot flushes due to mixing illegal drugs.

Late Nov 2015: Psych doc raised Risperdal to 8mg. Began having severe and hellish Akathisia. Was kept being given Diazepam to cope.

Early Dec 2015: Began seeing a new psych doc who tapered me off Risperdal over a period of a few weeks and put me onto Quetiapine.

Late Dec 2015: Quick tapered off of everything due to little guidance.

Mid March 2016: Reinstated Fluoxetine (5mg), dose was increased to 10mg a couple of weeks later. Gave me restless legs and stopped taking immediately (RLS was unbearable).

10 May 2016: Unsuccessful Fluoxetine reinstatement at 1mg. Drug free since May 2016.

Diet (When Able): Low carb and sugar, high fat & dark greens. medium protein and fruit. Taking 100mg magnesium, 1000mg omega 3, 0.25mg Melatonin daily,. Drinking at least one mug of chamomile a day. Weekly Light exercise. Meditating daily and practising mindfulness.

I like what you say about “catching up”, Iv’e thought about that too and it makes sense to me.

Hi, I don't really enjoy coming on here so much these days... I like to preoccupy myself with a spiritual purpose and focus my time and energy on feeling as good as possible, but I feel another update is due:

I'm still experiencing quite a lot of symptoms with some gone and some new ones that will undoubtedly come and go, that's the way of withdrawal; as the mind heals and the CNS rearranges itself back to normal.

Summer has been really rough for me and has triggered me into a severe wave, I suspect pollen/histamine intolerance to be the culprit. My emotional state has also not been great for a few reasons, the wave being one of them.

I still remain hopeful though and see myself recovering in the not too distant future.

I also have a request, If anyone has any hopeful material akin to Baylissa's work, would you mind please sharing it with me? That would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

hi there, sorry this post didn't get any replies. By materials, do you mean books?

I can't think of any hopeful sounding books like Baylissa's (which I loved, it really helped me thru the dark patches)

but a lot of the success stories here on SA have given me a lot of hope

other things that helped me was knowing that the body is always striving towards health healing and wholeness, it's what our bodies were made to do. I wished it would happen faster lol but it did happen and I'm grateful for that.

it will happen for you too.

Hi,

Yeah, books, blogs, websites, YouTube channels etc. There's another channel I like called The Lovely Grind and the overall theme is hope.

And thanks, I'll have a look in the success stories. It's not a place that I've looked in extensively out of fear it might trigger me but I'll check it out.

I understand. Overall, though the success stories have been hopeful. if you come across one that triggers you, quickly skip to the next one.

I think Aeroman was one that had no triggers in it, at least for me. I guess it depends on what your triggers are.

yep, no triggers :)

Lexparo 10mg user for 2.5 years. Last dose was 2/27/2008 after a fast 1 month taper. Recovered around 2011. Had issues with depression, anxiety, akathasia, inner restlessness, vertigo, insomnia, loss of appetite, eye floaters just to name a few. Basically rode it out, employing the Dr. Claire Weekes method.

Took Cipro in July of 2014 and have been having set backs with nausea, vertigo, anxiety (racing thoughts), and depression the last half of 2014.
