Bulonkm: Effexor & Abilify

I am on effexor xr 75mg (not the generic) and abilify 2,5mg and I want to taper off both. I am not dure I can stop at the same time. Which one should I start with first? Thank you for your help

It can be a bit overwhelming when you first become a member here, but you will be supported by the staff and members.  An important thing to understand is that the drugs change the brain and by doing a slow taper it lets the brain adapt to not getting as much of the drug so that withdrawal symptoms may be kept to a minimum.

I came off olanzapine 2,5mg and was tapering off effexor at the same time. I wouldnt recommend it, a nice slow taper is the best. I came off 375mg effexor but I did it over 2 years approx. And it was very difficult. Take your time let your brain adjust to the changes.
