Moderator Emeritus ChessieCat Posted September 4, 2021 Moderator Emeritus Share Posted September 4, 2021 6-8 months old prescription liquid would be much better than the older one that you were talking about before. It is hard to know how much the efficacy has reduced, or even if it has at all, but it would probably be okay to start with the more recent prescription liquid. Just be aware that went you start the new liquid when you get it that you may be increasing your dose a little bit so my suggestion would be that when you start the new liquid that you DO NOT make a dose increase at the same time. And then throw out the old liquids and continue to use the new liquid. You do not want to accidentally start taking one of the old liquids. * NO LONGER ACTIVE on SA * MISSION ACCOMPLISHED: (6 year taper) 0mg Pristiq on 13th November 2021 ADs since ~1992: 25+ years - 1 unknown, Prozac (muscle weakness), Zoloft; citalopram (pooped out) CTed (very sick for 2.5 wks a few months after); Pristiq: 50mg 2012, 100mg beg 2013 (Serotonin Toxicity) Tapering from Oct 2015 - 13 Nov 2021 LAST DOSE 0.0025mg Post 0 updates start here My tapering program My Intro (goes to tapering graph) VIDEO: Antidepressant Withdrawal Syndrome and its Management Link to comment

Administrator Altostrata Posted September 20, 2021 Administrator Share Posted September 20, 2021 I do not have any magical abilities to examine your nervous system or gut long-distance to find out exactly what is going on inside you. All I can go on is what you tell me. Your signature is way out of date and you are disinclined to update it. Given you have gut problems that may be generating the same symptoms and not knowing what drugs and supplements you are taking now and therefore not being able to tell if you might be having adverse reactions to any of them, I don't know for sure if any of your symptoms are withdrawal symptoms. Intermittent symptoms could be related to food intolerances. We have reviewed the potential flaws in your citalopram dosing. Administrator Altostrata Posted September 20, 2021 Administrator Share Posted September 20, 2021 Don't forget to put month and year for events in your signature. How has taking 0.01mg Celexa for 10 days changed your symptom pattern? How do you feel before and after you take 0.01mg Celexa each day? This is not medical advice. gn11
I havent posted for a while. I am 2 years medication free. I am in recovery but still struggling with a number of symptoms. I no longer have severe insomnia or severe anxiety but continue to struggle with sleep (too anxious to go to bed). Now I can sleep 5 to 7 hours mist nights. I have gut issues and deal with acid reflux, and histamine sensitivity. I exoerience ringing in the ears but is mostly mild unless I am digesting or chewing. Lately i have been going through some dizziness and balance issues. I get dehydrated easily. I have glaucoma and my vision has deteriorated in the last 3 years. I should have better central vision so I wonder if the blurriness and light sensitivity is related to wd. I am doing so much better than 2 years ago when I had lost 45 lbs due to fear of eating, I had panic attacks and could barely sleep so I am hopeful that I will continue to recover. In the last 2 years I did the following with some degree of success. It also helped me to cope: Acupuncture low fodmap diet Qi Gong DBT ACT Continued my Ji Jungian analysis and spiritual practices. Also started somatic practices such as the RAIN process and EMDR (doing currently). I am just starting to meditate again. I have also done Shiatsu. Currently have a massage therapist which sometime includes Reiki and Chakra balancing in her treatment Most importantly I have kept a wide circle of friends with whom I speak regularly. I also have a number of on-line spiritual groups that provide community and some structure. I can see that I have come a long way. It has not been linear and it will probably won't moving forward. I am focusing on healing the gut and some of the health trauma I have undergone. I am looking at a more normal future, a slow unfolding sprouting being born in this present moment. 1 2006-2007 Lexapro (not sure of dose) in 2006 2007 Stopped abruptly.
