Hi rachelsusan

i have a link for you on anoro ellipta

https://public.gsk.co.uk/products/anoro.html

hope that helps.

Let me know if it’s any good for you.

2006 After sudden death of mother put on 20mg of citaloprom for depression.

2014 Drug stopped working after two weeks of panic attacks felt fine.

Aug 2014. Doctor put me on lyrica for rash on face, diarrhoea, sleeplessness, muscle cramp, bruising. Initial dose too strong, halved dose.  Stopped taking it 22/10/14

2014 severe anxiety after several ssri's attempted, seem to have developed severe  sensitivity to any drug, but giving severe  reactions put on cipralex drop form.started on 2 drops and had to increase by 1 drop every 3 days. Eventually got to 12 drops and had to stop as side effects every step of the way dreadful. Psychiatrist kept telling me to stick with it and my body would get used to it.  Eventually down to 8 drops. Bad reactions throughout the time I was on it

Have been on this until may 2017. Stopped over two weeks. Felt fine for 5 weeks after initial dizziness, nightmares, nausea, insomnia.

Given diazepam by gp and told to take them when anxiety bad. Have only taken them very rarely as they frighten me.

Last two weeks severe anxiety returned and feeling hopeless

11July 2017. Cipralex 2mg. Anxiety, nausea still severe

13 July 2017 Cipralex 1mg due to advice of too high dosage  by kind person on thus site. so dropped from 2mg to 1mg and feelings of anxiety still at severe. As well as nausea, headaches, fatigue.

15 July still feeling extremely anxious verging on panic. Nausea, feelings of fainting, fatigue. Lots of head pains

3 August. Three weeks into trying to stabilise on one drop of cipralex. Still have waking from 4am. Sporadic upset stomach. Nausea.  High anxiety.  Throbbing/burning in nether regions seems to have eased for time being but stabbing/burning in calves of legs. Tinnitus. Occasional half to whole better days but mainly still struggling. Fatigue

Another cut today. I think this is may be my last one before I quit.  All cuts made in the last few months have been very smooth.

HI Rachel Susan,

Okay, is it me, is it the full moon or is it some other pesky demon wandering around the site.    I responded earlier today on my phone and now see there is no reply.  Hmmm....I know I didn't imagine it.

Did you get a response?  I must sleep soonest as coherent thoughts are not to be found but I am just annoyed.  Not that I wrote anything profound but I just frustrating.

I will try again, again.  Tomorrow.

I hope your day and evening go very well and any nasty withdrawal symptoms vanish.

Hi JS11,

I hate when I post something or send an e-mail and it doesn't show up.  You are here now which I appreciate.  Thanks for reaching out.  Yes I am still experiencing symptoms, it's been three months now.  The symptoms have decreased expect for that internal trembling and the sweating. I'm no longer waking up with it, however it still shows up every afternoon around 1 or 2 p.m. and lasts until the early evening.

How about you, how are you doing with reconnecting?  I'm using that "follow" feature on this web site and every time you post on your page I get an e-mail alert with your post in the body of the e-mail.  Best feature for me to know what's going on with my friends and I don't have to remember to go to their site. It helps me to feel very connected to everybody I follow.

Take care of yourself my friend.

Hi RachelSusan,

A quick hello as I am rushing out to work.  Yes, I had that weird trembling too and the sweating.  The sweating seems to happen whenever I change my dose.  Also, if I don't do the Omegas regularly, it seems to come back with a vengence.  I experienced the trembling a great deal when I was on and then off a multitude of RXs.  I had it recently, again when I changed my dose.  I have messed that up for sure as I got a scale but have no idea how much I am taking.  I wasn't sure exactly what I was doing and did it by weight but went down by what I now know was too much as the symptoms which had subsided have come on back again.  Anxiety is the worst for me and the depression.  I also am having a difficult time sleeping.  That is partly due to the WD but also I just moved so I'm sure that contributes as well.  No sleep makes everything worse doesn't it.

I will write more later as I have to go.  I don't know why things happen with symptoms in the afternoon.  Mine seem to be with me from the moment I take my RXs.  Just odd.

take care,

Hope your day goes well

Hi Frogie,

I'm hanging in. This particular situation doesn't seem to be clearing up to quickly but like I said earlier at least it isn't as bad as when it first started.

I saw from your recent post that you had some nausea again and akathisia. I was sorry to read this.  Hang in there yourself.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hi JS,

When you have some time I would love to hear about how frequently you had your trembling and sweating. It helps me to hear about others who are going through something similar and to compare notes. I have been getting mine every day for close to 3 months.  When it's bad it can be all day long and wake me up at night.  When I am lucky I get it for part of the day, for about 5 hours.  I can't say it hurts, but it's uncomfortable and sometimes when it happens I feel like I am "flu-like."  The sweating get so bad that my hair actually sticks to my and head and it is noticeable to strangers.

Thank you.

Hi RS:

Glad you came out to talk for a few minutes. Sorry you are feeling so rough. I hope it passes quickly.

I did have a day of akasthisia, then it turned to nausea. I don't know what caused it. If it was all the antibiotics I have been on and my body just had finally had enough or what. I've never had akasthisia before and don't want it again.

Today we made the long 2 1/2 hour drive one way for my mammogram. So just got home. My fiancé always goes with me which is nice. We stopped and got him a new pair of work boots. But I felt very aggravated this morning. Maybe it was knowing the mammogram was going to be done, and I always freak out about them. After the mammogram, the tech said the radiologist would read it and if there was a problem they would call today. Haven't received a call, so hopefully she knows what she's talking about and everything is ok.

I'm sure you really feel like reading me blab, so I hope you feel better soon. Take it easy and rest.

Keep in touch, just let me know you are ok.

Take care,

Frogie xx

Hi Rachel Susan,

I am feeling so much better than I was this summer when I was barely able to finction. I had so many different drugs in my system  my body was just going crazy.

I took lots of ginger for the nausea.

I had some magnesium supplements which seemed to help.  I also got the Mag. Calm but I honestly don't know if that makes me even more anxious.

I do agree with the going slow but think I have messed up my taper and now not sure what to do..

I got a scale to measure but then think I jumped too far as some of the weird head timeliness and a few waves of dizziness have returned. I had those symptoms for a long time.

The anxiety is the killer..

I went to a newagey church this weekend...they did a meditation at the beginning . Lots of happy happy joy..Felt a lot of relief....Im not much of a meditator though..Get that antsy feeling.  Cant sit still Greedy and want more.

I have to look through your thread as I did so long ago and have to catch up

I hope you are having a day of relief..

Have a l9vely day

Take care

Hi Rachel Susan

The above was what I wrote last week..I think as they all run together of late.

I was hit with a constant onslaught of symptoms this summer.

I had been off Escitsloptam/Lexapro and one of the first things I noticed was I wasn't drinking gallons of water a day.

It hadn't occurred to me until I read the side effects which I know I did years before.  I've always been a liquid person but the volume was ridiculous

I mention this as another thing I have had was the perspiration thing.

When I reinstated at all kinds of different doses and totally messed myself up, I was absolutely drenched in sweat.

Yes, it was summer but we are talking changing shirts and waking up at night to do so as well.  And it stank too.  Not very attractive.

I was taking a large amount of Omegas and whenever I stopped the perspiration and waves of hot flashes ramped up.

This side effect has subsided but I notice whenever I change doses, it rears its head.

The trembling stopped for the most part but it comes on with dose adjustments too.  It is that awful inner shaking..

My teeth chartered too.

I don't know if I did anything specific other than Organs and dose reduction which I did way too fast.

I can tell as symptoms returned that went away for a bit.

Anxiety and depression  are mostly constant companions.

I do notice that anxiety sometimes lessons around 3pm.

I take my RD at around 530am. Old 630 as we just changed clocks.

When do you take yours?

I'm wondering if I slowly change time if I could sleep during anxiety and have calmer day.

I hope you are finding some relief.

Take care

Hi JS11,

Thank you for answering and giving me more information about your symptoms.  I really am struggling with a wave right now. Hearing someone with the same symptoms tells me that what I am going through is indeed normal is very helpful. The sweating thing is something I relate to. That comes and goes during the day.  I feel very hot or flush,  and it usually starts with the head and moves to the rest of the body. Then I start to sweat, everywhere.  I have it running down my head, my body, even down my legs. That will however go away. The internal trembling is exactly like you describe. Last week I had it for 3 days straight.  In additional to the internal trembling I feel shaky and can have occasional hand tremors. During this last 3 month wave I would usually get the trembling, along with the sweating, in the afternoon.  It starts anywhere from around 2 or 3 p.m. and lasts until anywhere between 5 and 7 p.m. I haven't reduced since August 5 and will continue to hold.  I got lucky and had a good day yesterday.  Each time I have a good day I keep thinking I am on my way out of this present wave. We will see, it does seem to be getting a little better. Oh, to digress a bit and go back to the symptoms, when I went cold turkey and was in full withdrawal over a year ago I too had the teeth chattering as well. I totally forgot about that since for me it lasted a very short period of time and never came back. I too take Omegas. And to answer your question I take my Zoloft anywhere between 6:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.  If I did take it later then I wonder if the symptoms would hit later, like you said, while we were asleep, or if the symptoms would still hit at the same time regardless of when we took the medication? If you do decide to move your medication please let me know, I will be very curious how it works out for you. Thank you again for sharing. I can't begin to tell you how much it means to me to hear that this is indeed normal. I wish you the very best with your struggle.

Rachel

Oh hey RachelSusan,

Isn't that the truth?  Knowing that you aren't crazy or it's just the/your (insert diagnosis here.) does indeed comfort me.

I'm so happy to hear that you had a good day.  I hope you can keep adding until you have a whole calendar full.

I have been having all kinds of weird things, especially in the early morning, but just for short periods.  Dizziness, and the weird head tingling in the back.  Took anatomy years ago, not sure what part of the brain is coming to life but maybe something is being repaired in there.  Also, with the dizzy, kind of a spinning sensation.  So thankful that these only last for a short while, usually when I just wake up and then are gone in a few minutes.  This summer, it was constant, so much so that I could barely get out of bed.

So yes, improvement, but I think when something comes back that I haven't experienced for  a while, I start to immediately panic.

I know I went down in my dose too far as I had had some relief from the anxiety but then, deja vu.  The earthquake like inner feelings have gone and I just remember them as being near constant and so very frightening.  I do wonder why the afternoon is the time those things hit.  I have read about cortisal.  I wonder if blood sugar issues or something like that could impact this as well.

Opps.

I know I took Zoloft years ago.  Do you like the liquid?  I had an immediate reaction from the liquid Escitalopram which is frustrating because trying to get the proper dose is so very difficult when you are cutting and gnawing at a tablet and then weighing it.  I feel like a drug dealer with my little scale on the floor picking up pieces of a pill with little tweezers.  I have been on prednisone before too for pain issues.  It made me eat everything in site.

I think you are very wise to hold your taper, especially with the symptoms continuing as they are.  I didn't mean to cut by so much and measured out the doses on the scale prior to putting them in one of those weekly pill things, but I honestly didn't know what the exact dose was.  I think my brain was just too out of it.  I have experienced the brain fog over many years but did also notice when trying to write a cover letter that my brain was just not cooperating.  Was an odd feeling as it just felt empty.  Could hear an echo in there.

I have recently moved to an apartment with all the noisy neighbor issues but I seem to be waking at 4am and then would love to go back to sleep but I don't ever really do so.  I was up at 2:30 for several nights so some improvement there. It makes for a very long rather zombie-like day.

Your sleep effected too?  I hope not.  Whenever I am tired everything is worse and then the tears come.  I need to get a pair of Jackie O. glasses but not as convenient a disguise when the sun has been replaced by snow and rain.  The Fall colors have been so very beautiful though.  Such a treat to look out my window and see the beautiful trees.

I am so very glad there is a holiday tomorrow.  I am hoping for a good night's sleep so that I can work on applying for another job.  I left my career job many years ago and was taking care of my dad until recently.  So very difficult to try and basically rebuild my life when some days I just want to crawl back into bed and escape.

Thank you for reaching out to me.  When I get home, I am just emotionally exhausted but also so very lonely and  just so want to talk to someone who understands.  I also have felt so....not sure exactly how to put it...shy and very uncertain of myself.  When I cannot trust what is happening in my body or how I will react, it just scares me. I am around new people on a daily basis and I have to try so hard to distract myself from some of what is going on inside so I can make it through the next few moments, etc.

I would kind of like to see if I can slowly change the time I take my Rx from early a.m. to night time, but there is also a part of me that worries that I would forget to take it altogether which would be very bad indeed.  It is frustrating, however, when shortly after I swallow the pills, I can feel the anxiety creep in.  With the time change and the season, morning light is no longer an issue but the anxiety is here none the less.  I put a shout out and see when others take their RX's.  Would be so lovely to try and sleep through some of this yuck.

I do hope your evening gives you some relief and that your good days increase in number.

take care,

JS11

Hi JS,

In answer to your question, it was hard for me to get onto the liquid.  When I made that move I had flare up of withdrawal symptoms, but then after 3 to 4 weeks it calmed down. Now I prefer it because it is much easier than cutting the pills.  I had to laugh when you said you felt like a drug dealer cutting the pills, because I could really relate.  My husband forgot I had told him I was purchasing the scale and one day when I was in the bathroom cutting up the pills and weighing them he came and knocked on the door.  I told him him to come in and close the door behind him and not to move.  He saw me with the scale and the pile of pills being weighed and was wondering what the heck was going on. Yeah I too felt like a drug dealer.

I too tapered a little too fast and I have been paying the price.  It looks like you tapered again on November 1. How are you doing with that?  I find that when I taper I feel it somewhere around the 4th day through the 10th day and then it subsides.  However like I said, I had a delayed reaction and I'm on a hold until I have at least 30 days feeling fantastic.

Like you, my sleep is also disrupted when I am having WD problems.  I too have many days when I am up at 2:30 a.m.  Sometimes falling back to sleep at 4 a.m., and sometimes not getting back to sleep at all.  Yes those Jackie O. sunglasses might be thew way to go.

Oh RachelSusan,

The thing with your husband made me laugh.  A perfect example of the lengths we will go to.

When I was on the liquid, I was also taking a 5mg tablet as well.  It was in the beginning of all the hooplah of multiple prescriptions but literally every time I ingested that it, my anxiety took off.  A little like forcing yourself to take poison.  I kept at it for a little bit to try and get an accurate dose but just couldn't stand the inner terror.  You have more patience than I.  I was in such a stopper then, taking one new RX after another to counteract the withdrawal from the previous one.  Madness I now know.

I put November 1 for the date but I think I have actually been on that dose/weight-wise for closer to 3 weeks.  A part of me was actually embarrassed to admit I had gone too fast.  And yes, paying for it.  Currently, the symptoms seem to be consistent.  Anxiety usually begins shortly after waking and has, on occasion left by late afternoon.  That weird 3pm time frame.  Crying all too often and depression.  The nasty tri-fecta.

I know when I was originally getting off Escitalopram and successfully did so for a few months, I too felt a surge in symptoms the first few days, particularly crying jags, anxiety and depression.  They seemed to spike around the 10th to 14th day for me as well.  I say that now, as when I was doing my original signature, I looked at my calendar and a sudden a-ha occurred.  I just blamed it on me, life etc.  I will have to keep a closer watch on it.  Sadly, one extremely difficult instance lead me to reinstate the Escitalopram.

I don't know if you have Amazon Prime but one of the things I have done in the past and am trying to do currently if I am just sitting around on the couch is something called Binaural Beats Brainwave Subliminal Systems.  If you have Prime, there are several CD's for free.  I think I bought a couple for cheap as well.  I don't put in headphones but just listen and it has actually helped.  There is one on overcoming anxiety which I use often.  I think that one has nice soothing ocean waves.  I have to remember some of the things that I once did to help alleviate these feelings.  I know you said distraction, which I gladly try but sometimes, there just don't seem to be enough of them.

I am hoping your day treating you well and here's to 30 days of fantastic.

take care,

JS11

Hi JS,

Thanks for your good wishes, I hope I can make 30 days of fantastic.  It appears that you have been tapering the Escitalopram consistently.  I was doing that with the Zoloft last spring and then it all caught up with me, hence the long hold. I too was embarrassed that I had gone to fast. I don't know why I would feel that way, everybody here is so supportive and the only one paying the price for going too fast was me. It's interesting that we both feel the same way. Do you continue to taper when you have symptoms or do you stop tapering?  I know that some people continue and some don't.

How are you doing with the loneliness factor? I am glad you are back on this site reaching out to people.  You mentioned in one of your earlier posts about being "uncertain". I feel that way at times as well and I have never felt that way before.  However for me it's more about the physical symptoms starting in front of other people. For example, the sweating.  It comes on so suddenly and is noticeable. I have had people ask me if I was sick.  Also when the tremors start it's very hard to concentrate on what other are saying.

Also to any one else reading this post, don't give up hope.  I have had 3 months of WD symptoms after doing so well last spring. I was ready to up-dose however one of the moderators encouraged me to hold steady.  I took the advice and now after 3 long months I seem to be coming out of this wave. I was also given a good suggestion by another person on this site to wait for 30 days being symptom free before I taper again.  I will also follow that advice. I may have to claw my way off this stuff but I will do it.

JS 11, I wish you a wonderful symptom free day.

HI RS

Great news that you are coming out of the wave at last!  Your patience has paid off.

I get all those physical things too. Sometimes I can't keep still if I am sitting at a table out somewhere and my leg just keeps jumping about! I am very conscious that I am annoying people I am with! I get the sweats too usually after I have spent a while doing my hair and makeup. My hair sticks to my head  and my makeup slides down my face!  Enough to put me off going out but actually going out does make me feel better so I just battle on with the symptoms.

I truly hope you are going to get the nice long window now that you deserve.

Hi RS:

Wonderful news that you are coming out of your wave and opening a window.

I'm in an anxiety wave right now, so I'm drinking chamomile tea and trying to stay calm.

I'm really happy for you. You deserve a huge window after all you've been through.

Good Luck!

Take care,

Frogie xx

Oh Frogie,

I am so sorry you are not feeling good.  I wish we both could feel good at the same time.  I know that you usually get nausea when you first taper, I didn't know about the anxiety for you.  I don't know what's worse, anxiety or nausea.  I noticed you tapered approximately 10% this time, which is what Surviving Antidepressants recommends.  I am wondering if perhaps based on what you are experiencing that when I am ready for my next taper I should do only 5%? I think you and I are both super sensitive types so I look to see how you are doing first.

I have been following your posts as well.  I am so glad that you get your granddaughter for a few days over Christmas. So you will have all the people that you love around you during Christmas holidays, including Brownie. Will Brownie wear a Christmas bow or scarf?

The suggestions that other people having been giving you on your page for your present taper and your anxiety have been really interesting to follow.  All of them seem so good. The majority are somewhat similar but with a little variation. What I like is that you can read them all and pick the one that feels like it makes the most sense to for your particular situation.

I hope you feel better soon my friend.

Journal: 11 days with almost no symptoms after a 90 day wave.  The only symptom I have left is the occasional sweating and feeling hot. The hot sweats last about a minute or two and those have diminished drastically in duration and frequency over the past few weeks.  I would say I now get the sweats about twice a day. The internal trembling is completely gone. I hated those the most so I'm really happy they have stopped. It was crazy because last spring and most of the summer all of my tapers were 100% symptom free. My tapers however caught up with me at the beginning of August.  I stopped and held yet the withdrawal symptoms continued on for 3 months. So a note to myself: when I do start tapering again even if the tapers are symptom free I need to go much slower.

Frogie,

Thank you so much. It took me a long time to pull out of this last wave and it was indeed an intense wave. I don't mind when I taper and get hit with slight symptoms after a taper that go away within a few days, but this 3 month thing was awful.

How are you doing with your last taper?  Has the anxiety gone away?  I do have a question for you.  How do you decide when to taper?  Do you have a schedule?  I usually have a schedule but change it depending on if I have any symptoms or not. I don't taper while symptomatic.  I was doing a modified BrassMonkey slide which worked very well for a while but I feel I pushed it too much, my fault. I wasn't doing the two week hold that BrassMonkey recommends.  Any thoughts you have on the issue of tapering would be most welcome.

RS:

My anxiety has lessened a lot, thank goodness.

I woke up with nausea this morning. Haven't had that in a long time. But my routine is changed today. The lady across the street invited me over for a visit this morning, then I have therapy this afternoon. But in a different town an hour away. And tonight is my fiancés city councils holiday party. Not looking forward to that at all.

I try to taper every 30 days, 10%. But if you look at my signature, it doesn't always happen. I wait to make sure I don't have any symptoms before I taper. I did what you did, just tapered along, no symptoms. Then it caught up with me. I had to go back up in dosage. So now I think about it before I do it. That's why I was told no symptoms for 30 days before you taper.

I hope that helps and you are going to get through this, just like me. Some days I don't think I'll ever make it through the day, but I do. Just like today. I have a friend that just told me think of 1 thing at a time, and I won't be overwhelmed. So I'm trying.

Take care,

Frogie xx

Frogie,

Thanks for the great insight regarding tapering. Once I start tapering again I think I might try a small taper, perhaps 5%.  I'm sorry to hear about your nausea.  You seem to suffer most with nausea.  I seem to suffer most with the internal trembling.

Good luck with the holiday party.  You might not like it but I suspect you will do just fine.  You are such a warm and caring person that I imagine you will charm everybody there.

Hi RS:

Just wanted to stop by and say hi.

Wondered how you are doing?

Hopefully better than you have been.

I miss talking to you, but understand when you are in WD, you don't want to talk. You just want to feel better. You will soon. :)

Journal: Planning my next taper. The target date is December 9th, for 5%. It is or course dependent how I feel.  I've been holding since August 5.  I was very symptomatic all of August, September, and October. Towards the very end of October the symptoms started to fade with me being clear the first week of November. I still get the hot sweats a few times a day but that seems to be withdrawal normal for me. I'm very accepting of having a few days of withdrawal symptoms after a taper, however when these symptoms go on for months and last almost all day long, each day, that is very hard to live through, as all of us on the site know. I am of course fearful, but fear won't get me off of this medication.  Slow and careful tapering will get me off.

I can't say it better than Flowers!  I am so impressed with your holding through your symptoms and am excited for you that you are feeling ready to move forward with your taper soon.

-1/06 - 3/07 Cymbalta. Fast taper; withdrawal symptoms after 4 mos (didn't realize was WD)

-10/07: 100 mg Zoloft; 1 mg Klonopin - tapered off Klonopin
-Tried several times to slowly taper Zoloft by 10%, then 5% every 4-6 weeks; could never get below approx. 40 mg - spring 2012 experienced major WD symptoms due to stress; tried to updose but no relief, back on Klonopin 1 mg.
-Switched over 5-6 mos from Zoloft to Citalopram. Finished Zoloft 1/13; Citalopram 35 mg and 1 mg Klonopin.
-8/13: 27 mg Citalopram; 1 mg Klonopin

-11/14: 12.6 Citalopram - began to have bad withdrawal symptoms; out of desperation increased to 1.25 mg Klonopin at the beginning of December.  12/13/14 16 mg Citalopram - going to stay here to try to stabilize; stabilized on 16 mg Citalopram after 4-5 months

-7/15 - 3/16: reduced to 15 mg; ~ 2 months later w/d hit hard (probably r/t stress); 6/16 updosed to 20 mg Citalopram and trying to stabilize. Updosed to 1.5 Klonopin as well. Stabilized on 20 mg Citalopram after 4-5 months

8/17-9/17: feeling withdrawal symptoms at 20 mg Citalopram (due to stress) - slowly increased to 25 mg. No change in symptoms after 6 months (? tolerance ?)  - decided to start citalopram taper February 2018 (still on Klonopin 1.5 mg).

All the best

I can see you are the new postergirl for safe tapering.

I think 5% is a very wise move.

We have until the 14th. Feb 2018.

URGENT REQUEST Please consider submitting  for the petition on Prescribed Drug Dependence and Withdrawal currently awaiting its third consideration at the Scottish Parliament. You don't even have to be from Scotland. By clicking on the link below you can read some of the previous submissions but be warned many of them are quite harrowing.

http://www.parliament.scot/GettingInvolved/Petitions/PE01651

Please tell them about your problems taking and withdrawing from antidepressants and/or benzos.

Send by email to petitions@parliament.scot and quote PE01651 in the subject heading. Keep to a maximum of 3 sides of A4 and you can't name for legal reasons any doctor you have consulted. Tell them if you wish to remain anonymous. We need the numbers to help convince the committee members we are not isolated cases. You have until mid February. Thank you

None of the published articles shed light on what ssri's ... actually do or what their hazards might be. Healy 2013.

This is so true, with anything you get on these drugs, dependance, tapering, withdrawal symptoms, side effects, just silent. And if there is something mentioned then their is a serious disconnect between what is said and reality!

"Every time I read of a multi-person shooting, I always presume that person had just started a SSRI or had just stopped."  Dr Mosher. Me too!

Over two decades later, the number of antidepressant prescriptions a year is slightly more than the number of people in the Western world. Most (nine out of 10) prescriptions are for patients who faced difficulties on stopping, equating to about a tenth of the population. These patients are often advised to continue treatment because their difficulties indicate they need ongoing treatment, just as a person with diabetes needs insulin. Healy 2015

I believe the ssri era will soon stand as one of the most shameful in the history of medicine. Healy 2015

Let people help people ... in a natural, kind, non-addictive (and non-big pharma) way. J Broadley 2017
