Freddyjay: Effexor questions

I started taking Effexor 37.5 four days ago and I'm in a haze. I feel tired and I catch myself staring off into space for extended periods of time. I honestly haven't been able to stay focused to write this post without stopping twice. I was really looking forward to doing something to rid me of my depression and I had a very positive attitude about taking Effexor and having a positive experience, but I can't feel like this for another day. I have too much to do to feel like I'm stoned and useless. Any suggestions? I do not foresee taking my next dose.
