storing tablets

Does anyone know if the tablets can go “off” (lose potency) if they are kept in a weekly plastic tablet container.  Mine has a lid that seems secure, but the vitamin C I keep in there as well, went discoloured which was obviously from absorbing moisture.

Cool, dry, and dark are best storage conditions for most pharma products.  Can you keep your weekly dosette in a drawer or cabinet? If humidity is a problem, you could put a few grains of rice in each compartment. Rice *LOVES* water.  People use it to rescue mobile phones after the phones have been dropped in water.

This is not medical advice. Discuss any decisions about your medical care with a knowledgeable medical practitioner.

As SW said, you could always put it in a drawer, but you could include a moisture sucker-upper in the drawer.  That is a moisture absorber - we have Hippo brand here as well as generic.
