"We must reach the place where we actually see that we don't know
what we are doing with our lives. We must recognize that we don't
know where we are going — and never have! This must be done without
anxiety and without emotion, just as we might recognize that we took
a wrong turn on the highway. We must see that our human opinions are
worthless; they can do nothing for us. When this happens, we are on
the edge of a monumental discovery."

The Mystic Path to Cosmic Power, Chap. 9, p. 156

"The realities of life are all powerful and this power will accept
no excuse from any human being. Human beings in the normal, usual,
social relationships, in the home, out in the world, human beings
eagerly go after the slightest opportunity to excuse themselves for
their bad behavior. 'I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to do that,' they say,
and you say.

We excuse our weakness, we excuse our bad manners, we excuse every-
thing about ourselves that we possibly can. It is a dominating trait
of human beings to say, 'I am not at fault, I am not to blame, don’t
blame me.' It is so characteristic that human beings have this little
phonograph record ready to put on at the slightest threat to their
self-images of being right and good and true, that they’re ready to
put the little phonograph record on instantly, 'It’s not my fault.'
It is your fault for living the way you are."

Listening to 432Hz music resonates inside our body, releases emotional blockages and expands our consciousness. 432Hz allows us to tune into the wisdom of the Universe, Divine Intelligence and our Soul. It creates Unity instead of separation. It expands our hearts and make us more compassionate and loving. One thing is for sure. A person who resonates with love have inner peace – and this is the starting point for a world where we live in Unity, Peace and Harmony with each-other and Mother Earth.

"If we say, 'There is a vastness to life which is unseen at present,'
we are stating a fact. It may not be our experience as yet, but it is
still a fact which nothing can destroy. So we are in a good position.
From this position we can begin to see life in a different way, the
way of non-division, of wholeness. We can begin seeing the entire
ocean instead of individual waves. What are some of these waves?
Obsessive ambition. Finding false comfort in crowds. Demanding
respect. Pretending to know. Individual waves cannot support a
ship. But the smooth and entire ocean easily does so."

Can We “Design" Our Way Out Of Civilizational Crisis?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5AxphbqcWA

Published on 23 Jun 2017

Big Picture Interview: As runaway global warming continues to accelerate and the gap between rich and poor - there is a sense among many that our civilization is in crisis. What’s causing this crisis? And how do we move beyond the broken status quo and literally design a better future? Those big questions are at the heart of social critic and activist Peter Joseph's new book, "the New Human Rights Movement: Reinventing the Economy to End Oppression."

Gurdjieff & The Fourth Way

i find Gurdjieff & Ouspensky interesting, & have been looking into their work more again recently. i do have some of their books. The following are some resources of theirs that i came across recently that some people may find of interest. People can also do a basic Google seach for an overview.

Gurdjieff and Ouspensky Books

The following PDF files are provided for educational purposes. I have downloaded them  from various sources on the internet and in these uncertain times it seems wise to make them available on a multitude of sites.  I would encourage anyone who feels that they are enriched by the books to purchase hard-copies if they exist. Many of them are available from Amazon.com.

This Sorry Scheme of Things… (R12+)

https://colinblundell.com/2014/05/26/this-sorry-scheme-of-things/

"There are periods in the life of humanity, which generally coincide with the beginning of the fall of cultures and civilizations, when the masses irretrievably lose their reason and begin to destroy everything that has been created by centuries and millenniums of culture. Such periods of mass madness, often coinciding with geological cataclysms, climatic changes, and similar phenomena of a planetary character, release a very great quantity of the matter of knowledge. This, in its turn, necessitates the work of collecting this matter of knowledge which would otherwise be lost. Thus the work of collecting scattered matter of knowledge frequently coincides with the beginning of the destruction and fall of cultures and civilizations."

Naomi Klein speaks a lot of sense imo, she discusses the current Global system & alternatives -

“Our economic system and our planetary system are now at war. Or, more accurately, our economy is at war with many forms of life on earth, including human life.

What the climate needs to avoid collapse is a contraction in humanity’s use of resources; what our economic model demands to avoid collapse is unfettered expansion. Only one of these sets of rules can be changed, and it’s not the laws of nature.

Because, underneath all of this is the real truth we have been avoiding: climate change isn’t an “issue” to add to the list of things to worry about, next to health care and taxes.

It is a civilizational wake-up call. A powerful message—spoken in the language of fires, floods, droughts, and extinctions—telling us that we need an entirely new economic model and a new way of sharing this planet. Telling us that we need to evolve.”

This Changes Everything

We feel instinctively that societies with huge income gaps are somehow going wrong. Richard Wilkinson charts the hard data on economic inequality, and shows what gets worse when rich and poor are too far apart: real effects on health, lifespan, even such basic values as trust.

Dr. Rupert Sheldrake: Can Science and Religion partner in a new phase of human exploration?

Published on 24 Jun 2017

Author and Biologist Dr. Rupert Sheldrake elaborates on the antagonistic relationship between science and religion. Dr. Sheldrake argues that science, like fundamentalistic religion, has been taken captive by a materialistic dogmatic view of nature and that a new creative, cooperative paradigm is needed for science and religion to evolve our understanding of consciousness and the cosmos.

“We do not live on the Earth, we are a part of how the Earth lives.”
~David Richo

“Returning to the source is stillness,” Lao Tsu whispers across the ages. When your inner being is gentle and still, like a mountain lake, experience expands into presence, becoming a reflection and expression of the world. Like Venus stirring from her sleep, we awaken to find ourselves home. Even when we were lost in dreams, we’ve always been home…" ~Christopher

"When you look into the blue sky on a sunny day do you glimpse a ball of nuclear fire or, as the London poet and mystic, William Blake, reported, the heavenly host singing God's praises? It's an old question, revived today by the notion of panpsychism which suggests that the sun might in some way be considered conscious. In this Science Set Free podcast, Rupert Sheldrake and Mark Vernon ask whether the sun is a psychical as well as physical entity in the solar system, and consider what that might mean for our participation in and connection to the cosmic dimensions of ecological life. Mark draws on Plato's notion that matter is a manifestation of mind, as well as how the sun was honoured in ancient Egypt; and Rupert explores how the sun is regarded in eastern religious practices, to suggest how it might be meaningful to relate to the sun today, as well as enjoy its light and warmth."

Systemic / Structural Racism, Violence, Poverty & Inequality -

https://www.vox.com/2016/6/6/11852640/cartoon-poor-neighborhoods

As it turns out, living in poor neighborhoods isn't just an inconvenience. It's a huge factor in what our lives — and our children's lives — turn out to be.

Research shows it's like breathing in bad air; the more you're exposed to it, the more it hurts you. And it isn't just because of the lack of opportunity. It's that living in these distressed areas changes your brain — and your kids' brains.

****************************************************************************

“Structural violence is one way of describing social arrangements that put individuals and populations in harm’s way… The arrangements are structural because they are embedded in the political and economic organization of our social world; they are violent because they cause injury to people … neither culture nor pure individual will is at fault; rather, historically given (and often economically driven) processes and forces conspire to constrain individual agency. Structural violence is visited upon all those whose social status denies them access to the fruits of scientific and social progress.” - Dr. Paul Farmer

Thought that this was an interesting little article exploring a basic overview of the main protocol for reversing various forms of brain damage.

Worth bearing in mind the current knowledge around brain plasticity & epigenetics - biology, psychology / emotions & environment are Not separate; they are interrelated, interdependent & interconnected - the brain / physiology heals / recovers & has great capacity to do so, if given half a chance.

imo - All religious traditions / spiritual systems are forms - Fingers pointing to the moon. There is a thread of truth within everything. The perennial philosophy is very well established. Truth is Universal.

Anthony de Mello

i could list many people. Jeshua himself was very likely highly trained within the spirituality / philosophy of the East, as well as Gnostic / Shamanic & other traditions. There is strong evidence that he was very much part of the Essene Order.

i would far rather learn all i can from comparative religion, spirituality, science, philosophy & all areas of human knowledge, than remain ignorant. & that surely is part of Gnosis - Knowledge; of self, life & reality.

The problem is at core systemic. It is an inherent problem (for the vast majority of humanity), within the economic, political & religious systems themselves.

Looking to the problem for a solution will Never work.

Want to Understand Neoliberal Economics? The one that puts in debt and keeps you there?

Ellis Winningham writes:

"Commercial banks lend by creating their own IOUs. These IOUs are denominated in the national government's unit of account. In doing so, it makes bank credit 'money' acceptable to pay taxes owed to the state.

In other words, you can buy things with bank credit, just like you can with dollars and pounds.

Because bank credit 'money' functions just like a dollar or pound (it can buy things), it then becomes clear with only a little thought that you have a potential alternative to government spending.

Neoliberals in the financial sector figured that out and so informed politicians. Wait for a crisis, decry the ill-effects of deficit spending on public services and the poor, commit to austerity, shift fiscal policy away from the public purpose, and force the population deep into private debt to fuel economic recovery.

You then fool the population into believing that government spending on public services and the poor caused the crisis, the government must 'live within its means', austerity is good for the economy, all whilst driving immense profits in the form of interest to the financial sector."
