wintery: Zoloft cold turkey

Recommended Posts

I stopped Zoloft on July 15, 2016 after 10 years cold turkey didn't know about the effects on

7/29th started having brain zaps, vertigo, anxiety, did not know then it was withdrawals,

8/02 headaches, tremors, muscle spams, memory problems and very confused, still didn't realize it was withdrawals,

8/20 slurred speech, burning sensation, headaches, palpitations and chest pains, taken to ER and was told it was anxiety I was given Klonopin, just for the night,

8/27 was taken to the Mental crisis center for suicidal and severe anxiety, was prescribed Zoloft again, gabapentin, Hydrozicine, trazodone, all prescribed to be taken throughout the day

8/30 taken to ER for anxiety and shortness of breath, (due to all medications I was collapsing)

Then I realized it was all the meds, started researching and realized it was withdrawal

9/23 started Lexapro, it caused me severe eyes damage even from day 1 and chest pains.

10/01 stopped Lexapro

10/02 Started Effexor,

10/10 Stopped Effexor caused me worse symptoms of anxiety and chest pains.

I have been taken to the ER around 10 times for chest pains everything comes back normal

10/10 back to the Physiatrists center  where they prescribed me Zoloft again (decided I would not take it after all I have been thru)

is been almost a month without any SSRI's but the chest pain don't stop is that really part of the roller coaster? please  help

wintery -- Welcome to Surviving Antidepressants (SA)

I've moved your post to the main introductions forum because your symptoms started with Zoloft discontinuation, and are probably not related the week you were taking Klonopin.

Have you had a medical examination for cardio-pulmonary causes to your chest pain?  If nothing was found then the chest pain is likely an unpleasant and distressing withdrawal symptom. You can read more about withdrawal in these two topics.
What is withdrawal syndrome
Important topics about symptoms

A request: Would you summarize your history in a signature -- drugs, doses, dates, and discontinuations & reinstatements, in the last 12-18 months particularly?

  • Any drugs prior to that can just be listed with start and stop years.
  • You don't need to include symptoms or diagnoses other than the initial condition that led to prescribing the first drug.
  • We ask for this information in your signature so that we can see it at a glance. A list is easier to understand than one or multiple paragraphs.
  • You can find instructions in this topic: Please put your withdrawal history in signature

What drugs are you currently taking -- for ANY reason -- regardless of their source: prescription, over-the-counter or street drugs?

Symptoms can last for an extended period of time. We suggest that people consider reinstating a very small dose of the drug they discontinued. Reinstatement is the only known effective way to reduce withdrawal symptoms. At a little over 3 months after your last dose of Zoloft, though not your last SSRI dose, it's hard to say how effective reinstating might be for you. It doesn't work all the time or for everybody so please read our discussion topic about it and then come back here to let us know whether you're interested in the idea.
About reinstating and stabilizing to reduce withdrawal symptoms

If you do reinstate, after stabilizing for several months you will probably be ready to taper off. Here are links to information that would be relevant for you:
Why taper by 10% of my dosage?

I hope you'll find the information in the SA forums helpful for your situation. I'm sorry that you are in the position that you need the information, but am glad that you found us.

Wintery,

Did the one night of Klonopin that the ER gave you provide you any relief from the chest pain? If so, for how long?

Any issues with heartburn/acid reflux?

Thanks,

Skeeter

Current meds: Lexapro 20mg, Valium 6.25mg
Current status: September 2018 forced to go down to 10mg of Valium/Diazepam from around 15mg, with the plan to have me totally of in 2 more months. I was not given a chance to give input at tapering at this speed, please go much, much slower. Luckily I found a new doctor, but was thrown off course by my rapid taper, as of 2/19 am down to 6.25mg, and am stable. Will update with dates of taper ASAP.

Hello Skeeter,

Klonopin actually help me with the chest pain it did not cause me heartburn or acid reflux just made me so sleepy to be able to function throughout the day, they gave me some at the ER and only prescription for 5 pills to have in case of emergency, which I cut in 1/4 and take them as needed, I have taken a couple this past days, they make me very shaky and like I said I can't do anything when I take them, except sit on the sofa and stare at the tv like a zombie, it sedates me not in a good way

Wintery,

Do you have any acid reflux issues at all, I am sorry that I did not speak clearly!  My fault.  In learning about the different AD meds, and coming off of them, some can cause this along with chest pain. I have heard this with Zoloft before, but not everyone is the same in the least!!!

No need to reply if no acid reflux, just clarifying my question.

I am sorry you are having such a hard time.  I do hope, with the very kind people here, that you will find help to feel a bit better!!  They are certainly good at what they do here!!!

I am so glad that you are not having cardiac issues.  It does not help with the chest pain, but at least you know that you are not having a heard attack!

Best wishes,

Skeeter

I get this in withdrawal from Zoloft - it's like an annoying, gnawing discomfort in the top left hand part of chest. It's not heartburn, I know what this feel likes. It's relieved by letting a good hard, burp! It's worse in the morning and worse when I'm lying down.

Thank you Lakelander82, I taught I was crazy I had every single symptom of withdrawal but this one is the worse and knowing I am not alone helps me to breathe a little easier.

I have had chest pain since reinstating the lexapro, It has to be from the lexapro, either WD or side effect, I don't know which.

it happened at the same time every day, and sometimes was so intense I thought I should go and get checked out for a heart attack but now it's gone (knock on wood, it doesn't come back)

I had a lot of other pains and things too, but they come and go.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME PRIVATE MESSAGES, thank you.

  • started lexapro 2002, dose varied from 20mgs to 40mgs. First attempt to get off it was 2007- WD symptoms were mistaken for "relapse".
  •  2013 too fast taper down to 5mg but WD forced me back to 20mgs
  •  June of 2105, tapered again too rapidly to 2.5mgs by Dec 2015. Found SA, held at 2.5 mgs til May 2016 when I foolishly "jumped off". felt ok until  Sept, then acute WD hit!!  reinstated at 0.3mgs in Oct. 2106

I was having the achy sensation in my chest again - Just put some Sodium Bicarbonate in water and drank it down - relieved it instantly and for the rest of the day so I assume it's just acid reflux.

  • 2 months later...

My story began 01/06/06 driving to my aunts house for a family reunion, the drive was after work and I had a few cups of coffee that day, when I drove over a bridge I started to have a anxiety attack which turn into a full blown panic attack, I felt my heart was about to stop never felt that before and it scared me! I made the stop in a gas station with my children and husband worried, I fainted and 911 was called in; rushed to the hospital and release 2 hours later with a panic disorder diagnosis; they gave me a benzo there and 3 emergency pills to take with me, (don't remember which one)

The following Monday I rushed to my PC and she wrote a prescription for Zoloft starting at 25 mg. I was freaking out so I took 2 weeks off from work and took the pill religiously, felt side effects during the beginning but I stick to it, I had another panic attack on the 29th same month and doctor upped the dose to 50 mg, no more attacks after that but a month later when I went for a check up the gave me a new doze 100mg, which I stick until 2013. due to family issues mild panic  and anxiety returned, while at the hospital Klonopin was given to me 1 mg, and prescribed for emergencies Zoloft was upped to 150 mg

in 2014 when my situation was stabilized I dropped Zoloft to 50 mg from 150 mg,  at the end of 2014 got a big break; great new job. things were looking up life was great!

08/2015 started having issues with low ferritin and severe anemia, body aches, low vit D, body aches, brain zaps, body temperature changes, mild chest pains, (doctor ordered many test all came back good except the anemia,) continue taking all my meds including Imitrex for the headaches, but continued with extreme anxiety for months, my commute for work was 1.5 hour each way everyday and it was harder by the day,

stress test, chest x rays, heart ultrasound everything clear well,

by 03/16 headaches, brain zaps and bad vertigo, GI issues were consuming me, memory problems were bad for my job, 06/16 I stopped Immitrex, Zoloft and other medicines, only continued with iron and multi vitamins,

07/16 family vacation turned into a disaster; by the end of July I quit my job couldn't do it anymore, more test Lupus, Lyme, Fibromyalgia and all clear, we continued to blame it to low iron and ferritin levels.

08/16 brain fog, feet and hands puffy, motor skills were lost almost completely, I was suicidal, wanted to jump in front of a train or run into traffic, husband took me into the ER Psychiatrist and they suggested go back to Zoloft, adding trazodone, gabapentin and one more cant remember,

this send me to a darker place, took all four medicines for 4 days and I was even more suicidal.

09/16 switched to paxil 20 mg for 9 days, tried Lexapro & Effexor all with bad reaction, gave Zoloft a last chance in 10/16 and didn't work,

after researching I realized that my Zoloft manufacturer was changed in 08/15 when all this started,

10/16 I found SA & accepted I was on withdrawal, been taking it day by day, minute by minute, struggling with akathasia, cortisol and adrenaline rushes, for which I took Klonopin .5 mg; I have been here but gone, I lost myself somewhere and cant find me, I spend months with minimal speaking, apart from everyone, sitting in the sofa starting at the wall, couldn't watch tv or listen to radio, I was afraid I would hurt if I move,

my first window was in December for a few hours on a Saturday, then long waves, other short windows have come but still struggling

I have taken fish oil which reacted bad, Vitamin D gave me anxiety, magnesium, Tulsi, Ashwaganda, turmeric, mineral supplements all worked for a week or two then turned bad,

currently only taking CQ10 and light multi vitamins, chamomile tea, lots of vegetables, water, seeds, avocado and fruits.

Hi Wintery,

I'm so sorry you went through so much and are still struggling!

You should be very pround of yourself for surviving the most horrendous battle so far! I know it's easy to say, but keep the faith that all the symptoms will die off over time and you will recover and heal completely although it takes lots patience and time.

You mentioned you had bad reaction to multiple SSirs. What are the symptoms from that, are they gone after you stopped them? In particular, the eye damage you mentioned from Lexapro, any residual issues from that?

As a matter of fact, I want to congratulation to your being free from these dangerous drugs! You are already on the road of healing!

Hang in there, regardless how horrible the symptoms makes you feel, they will pass. This is what kept me getting through many incredible days over many years.

wintery - nice to see you posting. I too am sorry that the last few months have offered you only short windows of relief.

Although the return of symptoms is discouraging, the fact that you've had symptom-free or symptom-light periods is a hopeful sign. You will get through to the other side where waves are minimal and infrequent.

Lex

Thank you for your encouragement Lex, I need to read it and remind myself that this will pass; the waves are still really bad and cant lift myself up unless I read it or ear it

the side effects from the multiple SSRI's, when I tried to reinstate Zoloft and did not work, I took Paxil 20 mg, but as the panic attacks were one after another, I couldn't sit still I felt like I was under water always short of breath; after 9 days doctor changed me to Lexapro I think it was 50 mg, by day 3 on it I was having a hard time seeing, by the 5th day I had built a yellow crust over my eyeballs, I called the dr. but she said that couldn't be a side effect of the med and suggested I kept on taking it, but things got bad and by day 7 I had to go to the ER the crust was thick, doctors there said it was the Lexapro, took antibiotics and eye drops, which I regret now because I feel they did more arm than good,

a couple days after I started Effexor 37.5 mg and just like with Paxil the anxiety the panic attacks grew bigger also I was sweating from my hands and my feet, my skin was cold, my chest pains got worse, my husband took me once more to the Psyquiatric ER and the doctor was mad at me for being to weak and he insisted I was being irrational and exaggerating and suggested to my husband to MAKE ME stick to my medicines and get my stuff together,

When we came home from this visit I decided I had to stop all meds, but I didn't I still gave Zoloft one more chance but it turned bad, Now I know that if maybe I would have reinstated at a much lower dose maybe it would have worked but I didn't know,

somewhere in the beginning of November I just stopped everything Except the Klonopin that kind of help me when the cortisol and the nights were impossible,

2006-2013 Zoloft prescribed for one panic attack 25 mg - 100 mg

05/2013 extreme anxiety prescribed Klonopin 1 mg per day took only as needed

08/2013 Panic attacks with anxiety; increased to 150 mg Zoloft / prescribed Wellbutrin also dont remember dose

10/2015 Zoloft changed manufacturers and Symptons of WD started, brain zaps, chest pains, memory problems, burning skin, achy feet & hands,

06/2016 Quit Zoloft;

07/2016 Quit Job, couldn't handle vertigo, commuting and brain zaps

08/2016 Tried re-stating Zoloft  50 mg Bad Reaction

09/2016 Tried Paxil 20 mg (9 days bad reaction) Lexapro (7 days  bad reaction) Effexor 37.5 mg (bad reaction)

11/2016 Tried Zoloft 50 mg no luck.

wintery - nice to see you posting. I too am sorry that the last few months have offered you only short windows of relief.

Although the return of symptoms is discouraging, the fact that you've had symptom-free or symptom-light periods is a hopeful sign. You will get through to the other side where waves are minimal and infrequent.

Thank you so much Scallywag, I really want to believe that this will pass but a reminder always pops in and tells me is not over there's still a long road ahead,

I have done so many mistakes during this symptom light free periods that it scares me that I am doing it all wrong, the negative thinking that maybe I will never get better is consistent, the tremors are still an all day thing even if they are very light at times, the anxiety creeps up suddenly and this keeps me from going out, but at least I am able to drive short distances now, and also I am able to go grocery shopping as long as I don't spend too much time, the waiting in line to pay kills me,

I wish someone could tell me that this will be over soon, but I know is different for everyone

Thank you!!

Hi wintery,

Just dropping by to lend you some support. How are you doing now? I'm sorry you are going through this, I have found myself in a similar situation as yours. I'm glad you are getting windows of some relief. Hang in there.

2011-2014: 25-50mg Zoloft then CT via doctors advice. Some mild physical sx but fully functioning, unaware that withdrawal was a thing. Dr didn’t know why I was chronically dizzy with brain fog & advised to try Zoloft again.

2016: severe adverse reactions to Zoloft (1 dose), Paxil (3 weeks), celexa (2 weeks), buspar (1 dose), lamictal (4 doses). Ativan 12 times within a month. Also tried Xanax & klonopin a couple times. Each reaction became more severe. Kindled. Became disabled from these meds.

Drug free 12-16-2016
Month 1-20: +5% healing every month
Month 21- present: setback to acute from amoxicillin antibiotic (1 dose)
Month 32- 11 months into setback from antibiotic. Seems I was floxed by amoxicillin somehow. Horrific.

Thank you Waiting12, how are you doing now?

I am having windows maybe 3-4 hours out of the day where I can do stuff, is not everyday so I live by the moment, this is a big problem with family because they see me "OK" They plan on movies, dinner and things I cant do,

current things I have akathasia, my restless leg are back, anxiety mostly mornings and evenings, one thing that came back after months is brain zaps, headaches, also since the beginning of the WD I have had urinary track issues, I had a couple rounds of antibiotics but I don't want to take any more if I don't have an infection even if my doctor insist I just don't know,

flu like symptoms  are still very present, and I actually had the flu 3 weeks ago that was extremely difficult for me because I tried flu medicine and it cause me a week of anxiety and panic and more severe symptoms, until someone recommended Sambucol which worked for me

The insomnia has not been bad lately, it was a first until I found Cherry Tart with melatonin pills and those help a lot without any issue, I still take those after 3 months,  I sleep between 4-7 hours another thing that help me was to wrap my head in a blanket only leaving my nose and mouth exposed to breath, the night sweats are milder now too.

what about you how are things and what helps you get thru the days? is been so difficult for me since I was always the main provider in my house and I was the one who did everything, now I just take whatever help I can get and deal with the fact the I cant do it now and I keep telling myself that it will get better, but is hard specially when my chest starts to hurt or the palpitations take all my attention

It sounds like you've had some improvement, that's great! I don't know I'm so all over the place. I've been having Windows too but they always crash back into awful waves. I'm looking forward to the time where my waves are less intense. I still have a lot of symptoms they come and go and change and come and go. It's all so confusing. I don't really know, I had to quit my job because all of this so I just take it day by day right now. It's been hell but my windows prove to me that healing is happening. I too find it hard to focus on anything when I feel this bad. We'll get through this.

I know exactly what you mean and I know the feeling, things get better I believe it because back in August there was a point where I could not speak, my speech, my coordination everything was gone, slowly things get better but I want to be ok Now, I need to go back to work to do my life, you know I haven't done my make up since August, my hair is a mess white hair has covered my head and I am not that old, my nails everything used to be all done but now is just not like that, the first months I didn't care and could not think about those things since I was sure I was dying right then,

I quit my job at the end of July and that was hard because I was at the top where I wanted to be for a long time, where it took me years to get but this also didn't matter when I felt I was gonna be gone in a minute

now that I see a glimpse of life again from time to time I get hopeful;

also I found out that the least supplements, herbs or anything the better, I spend so much money buying stuff in hopes it would help

back in November my doctor ordered Iron infusions for my anemia, I had B12 shots, I felt a little improvement with energy but nothing else, at least now I am not anemic anymore

one more thing that is awful is my menstruation, those days the anxiety increases, the chest pains get worse and I am a mess even more, Hopefully this improves over time but hopefully soon

I know things are confusing now but time will sort things out, hang in there, I am only a couple months ahead of you and you are seeing improvements already you will be ok, are you able to entertain like watching tv and listening to the radio?

Funny you ask about tv. No! I totally can't handle the stimulation and my concentration is really bad. I'll see something that triggers some anxiety and be stuck thinking about that. Which I really hope let's up soon. Watching tv would help to pass the time. I spend my days in my quiet house as my fiancé works long hours. Some days I can do a lot most days I just do minimum of house work, go grocery shopping If I have to, force myself to walk daily, force myself to eat enough etc. it feels like basic survival mode 90% of the time.

Same with me on self care. I used to be done up every day. Had a great job where I had 3 different positions & was the only employee that could rotate from office to office. Also was in school full time. Now, I don't even change out of pjs unless I'm going out in public. Nor have I gotten my hair done since june & I don't even seem to care. I totally understand everything you said. I too didn't give a hoot about work or school when you feel like you've got a crisis. It'll come in time. The one thing I have seen after reading so much is that everyone heals.

I haven't tried any vitamins or anything in fear something would backfire. I couldn't handle getting worse or going back to how I felt in November. It's been hard for me because my symptoms are morphing kind of. The fear is trying to attach itself to new things. Things Ive never been scared of before. It's silly when you think about it but really awful to go through. Everything else physical and mental comes and goes, mostly the panic feeling is the worst. The week before my time of the month is completely horrific for panic & akathisia. Non stop for 5 days. I just made it through that last week. I hope next month is a little nicer to me. I'm usually still in shock that I'm in this situation. I too want to be better right now.

I wasn't able to watch tv at the beginning but slowly added a show here and there, only comedy or house renovation shows, nothing that could make me sad, mad or scared, radio I listen to very low volume,  I was even able to go to the movies again without panic or anxiety and that was a big mile stone,

I am glad to know you can go out and do some stuff that is a good sign, I wasn't able at first even if I pushed myself, I was weak to do anything, I had a hard time eating as well and lost 29 lbs total since, now I find myself eating good but really different foods then before I stick to a schedule and to only healthy foods,

on the menstrual issue I read that it takes time to get better and it scares me because is so bad for me that I even consider installing an IUD to stop my period but the gynecologist said no since that can bring a whole new list of issues mentally since I'd be messing with my hormones; I guess just ride it out and pray I can put up with it

My diet has changed dramatically too. I use MyFitnessPal to log my calories but I'm still force feeding myself at this point. By eating good does that mean that you feel hungry again? I've lost 25 pounds as well & feel like I look sickly.

I try to get out but it's hard. I feel so uncomfortable all the time even at home too. Last time I went to my friends I didn't even sit down. I'm supposed to go to a crowded bar this weekend with fiancé and his coworkers for a late Christmas party. They will all be drinking and I will be quiet and not myself because I know I'll be in panic. I'll probably just eat and go home and let them party.

I'm glad you can watch tv now that is something I am really looking forward to. That's really awesome you went to the movies! I went once back in September and it was hard but I did it of course but I had two more adverse reactions after that and got worse. Now I'm slowly climbing my way back up.

Yeah idk what to do about that time of the month other than white knuckle through it. It is hell on earth. But I know it won't last longer than 4-5 days. I really hope we both see progress and that improves for us. We have very sensitive CNS right now and we can feel every little hormone change.

Healing wishes to you.

Hey LexAnger, the eye issue got better when I stopped Lexapro, I still have vision problems floaters & blurry vision,  but the crust on my eyeballs disappeared slowly days after I stopped,

when I called my doctors and told her i was having issues she said there was no way that Lexapro could do that, I trusted her but now i realized that she just didn't care about anything and it makes me so mad I just want to file a complain or do something about all of this,  bad thing is I don't trust any doctor and I am scare of a real emergency and not knowing the difference between withdrawal

I am not sure how to feel anymore, there is not one day that something new comes up and I am just tired, but I guess we need to keep pushing,

I had a few good days with physical symptoms, a lot of pain but manageable head issues, but for the past couple days the chest pain and brain zaps have been very bothersome, I have been really considering trying to take a micro doze of Zoloft; I am desperate and cant go on like this,

I am not even sure how long I have been on withdrawal, should I count since they change the manufacturers of Zoloft in 2015 and I started having symptoms or since my last dose in October 2016?

I am desperate and I taught the brain zaps were gone, the akathisia is been manageable but today is again strong, the headaches as well, so how is one supposed to live like this?

I keep self talking positive but today my brain is not responding, when is the chest pains going to stop? when is this going to change?

2006-2013 Zoloft prescribed for one panic attack 25 mg - 100 mg

05/2013 extreme anxiety prescribed Klonopin 1 mg per day took only as needed

08/2013 Panic attacks with anxiety; increased to 150 mg Zoloft / prescribed Wellbutrin also dont remember dose

10/2015 Zoloft changed manufacturers and Symptons of WD started, brain zaps, chest pains, memory problems, burning skin, achy feet & hands,

06/2016 Quit Zoloft;

07/2016 Quit Job, couldn't handle vertigo, commuting and brain zaps

08/2016 Tried re-stating Zoloft  50 mg Bad Reaction

09/2016 Tried Paxil 20 mg (9 days bad reaction) Lexapro (7 days  bad reaction) Effexor 37.5 mg (bad reaction)

11/2016 Tried Zoloft 50 mg no luck.

I don't know much about reinstating since it didn't work for me (I never tried microdose) I'm sure someone with more knowledge on that subject can help you with that. However, it sounds like your symptoms are coming and going in intensity and I think that is a very good sign of healing. I'm sorry you are feeling this way. I can sympathize.

Horrific.

Thank you Waiting12,  I had some very good days, with physical pain but tolerable to be able to do things, yesterday I started with this bad wave, and actually I have already tried to reinstate and it went bad so I know that it probably it will do the same this time, specially because I am even further out, I am just so desperate and tired :(

I am tired mentally and physically, but I keep telling myself that this will pass that this months or even years will be a thing of the past someday and I keep praying.

I am glad your dentist apt went well and also read you have to take amoxicillin, luckily no extraction, I am happy for you

I'm so mentally tired too. I think it does take a long time to get to fully healed but there is no way it can be unbearable the whole time until then. I just won't take that for an answer. Lol. I think take a month at a time and we will look back a ways and say wow, that was unbearable then, this is still the pits but more tolerable. That's what I'm hoping for anyways. Can you see progress since October?

& thank you, I really did luck out. Hope the antibiotics are kind to me.

I hope antibiotics go well for you too,  I have seen improvement from October to now a lot actually, the worse symptom I have is the chest pains that were gone but now they are back and those scare me a lot, but mentally and physically I have improved and even when I  get wave is not like before, if only the chest pains would go away I think I could deal with everything else somehow, I have been to specialist for it and they all clear any problems, I also had an esophagus barium test and it came back really good, lastly the cardiologist told me is anxiety and I needed to take an AD or benzos for the pain,

But I wont, because I know how that will go,

I pray for time to pass and for us to heal and go back to life, not the past but a better life free of meds

Hi Wintery,

I am so sorry you still feel bad. I'm the one strongly against reinstate as drug reaction from dose incraese got me in a much worse hell. But I also understand how Unbearable WD can be.

You may want to check out Catnapt thread for some info about micro dose reinstate. She went back 0.3 mg Lexapro successfully. The key is the less the better ( we are talking about 0.1mg or so ) to test the water and to avoid potential reaction. As you can always increase if needed.

Hi, Wintery

Sorry about what you are going through right now.'

I reinstated at a ultra low dose of lexapro.

First 1mg, which was too strong for my nervous system and made me feel worse. I managed to stabilize (a relative term) at 0.5mg. Im now at 0.08mg after 14 months of tapering and feeling much better.

<p>Sept 2015: 5 mg Cipralex for 3 weeks. Lots of side effects. Reduced to 2.5 mg for 2 weeks. Experiencing withdrawal and side effects still after dose reduction. Quit after almost 4 weeks on 2.5 mg because of adverse effects. Experiencing withdrawal symptoms still. Reinstating 1mg after 3 weeks. Reduced to 0.50 after 2 days due to sensitive reaction (dysautonomia) and trip to ER. January 2016: After 14 months of tapering from 0.5 mg im now down to 0.08mg. Planing on one more drop before 4-8 weeks healing, then jump to zero. 14.03.17: Lexapro free!
