Yes it did.    Of course it comes and goes anyway, being in waves and windows. But I wasnt gonna risk it anymore.  

 9/2018- lexapro for 5 days - was low- dose rigid muscles

11/3/2018- zoloft 2 days, starting dose is.intrusive thoughts

11/7/18  - 11/15/18 - Prozac 9 days, from 10 mg for week, to 20 mg 

11/16  inpatient put on Lexapro for a few days,  Cymbalta, 2 days

11/24-12/8 - gabapentin 100 mg 3xs per day - a very fast taper

1/7 - t buspar for  three days- blurry vision, jerky eye

1/17/19 - 2/15/19- mirtazapine 15 mg - started taper on 1/30 fast

2/15/19 - inpatient .2/17-abilify, topamax given.  next day changed

2/20/19 gabapentin 600 mg, 6/5 -545 mg ,8/21  494 mg , 9/30 444mg, 11/14 399 mg, 12/10- 360 mg, 1/21-342 mg, 2/11- 324 mg (current)

2/20/19 - seroquel 25 mg 

2/20- luvox (generic) 25 mg, 4/6- 18.75 mg (current)

Ok thank you, I don‚Äôt seem to notice a waves and windows pattern my symptoms just seem to very gradualy get less intense it‚Äôs been 5 months since I stopped taking anything and it was getting better but now it feels like the same intensity as the first 3 months . Hopefully it will settle like yours did ūü§ě

Thank you what do¬†they mean about the chemicals ? I didn‚Äôt really state anything just explained the situation and he did mention something about the liver and internal wind, so I didn‚Äôt think he would be working on the nervous system. Really wishing I hadn‚Äôt bothered now , hopefully it will calm down again. I don‚Äôt think I‚Äôll be going back!thank you for the info ūüėä

Has anyone found acupuncture to help with the many allergies, sensitivities and reactions that people in WD have?  Can it help minimize side effects and reactions to psych drugs?  I am having side effects from Effexor xr. 

1993-2000: Zoloft few months CT, Prozac 1-2 yrs, Ritalin PRN

2002/2003: Wellbutrin,  Paxil 25mg FT, and Xanax PRN CT (all 3 to 6 months), Adderal 40mg, Strattera 40mg

2003- 2016: Effexor XR 75 mg to 150 mg., Strattera (2002-2008)

2017: Effexor XR 225 mg. Gabapentin 300 mg. Elavil 25 mg.

2018: (Sept.) Effexor XR 187.5 mg, Zoloft 10 mg. (OCT.) FT off Gabapentin (NOV.) FT off Elavil (DEC) FT Effexor to 150 mg.

2019: (JAN.) D/C Zoloft, added Viibryd 10mg (FEB) CT Viibryd, (MAR) Prozac bridge, Effexor xr 112.5mg, (Sept.) Effexor XR 112.5 mg + 0.4 mg (1 bead), (Oct.) Effexor XR 112.5mg, (Dec.28) start 10% taper Effexor XR 101.25 mg, 

2020: (Jan. 25) Effexor XR 91 mg., (Feb. 22) Effexor xr 82 mg., (Mar. 21) 75 mg. 

Supplements:  Vitamin D 5000 IU topical, Probiotic 6 billion CFU, Epsom salt bath 1C 2 to 3 X week, California Poppy 2 droppers, various essential oils

@Floss, did you recover from the acupuncture? If so, how long did it take for you to heal? 

  • 2015:
    • January: Started taking Xanax (0.25mg) as needed
    • May: Weekend of trying LSD, psilocybin mushrooms, MDMA
    • May: Discontinued Xanax (CT'd)
    • July: Started taking Prozac (0 --> 40mg)
    • November: Started taking Lamictal (0 --> 150mg)
  • 2018:
    • May: Tapered off¬†Prozac
    • July: Started taking¬†Klonopin (0.125mg) as needed
  • 2019:
    • March: Discontinued birth control pills (~10 years)
    • May: Discontinued Klonopin (CT'd)
    • April -->¬†July: Tapered¬†off Lamictal (150mg --> 0: 125mg for 3 weeks, 100mg for 3 weeks, 75mg for 3 weeks, 50mg for 2 weeks, 25mg for 1 week)
    • Mid-July: Reinstated Lamictal (25mg) after 3 days of discontinuation¬†
    • Mid-August: Increased Lamictal (25 --> 50mg)
    • September: Decreased Lamictal (50 --> 37.5mg)
    • December: Decreased Lamictal (37.5 --> 35 mg); started taking Trileptal (4 mg)
  • 2020:
    • January: Took one birth control pill
    • April - June: Used curcumin cream (daily), 1% hydrocortisone cream (as needed), Elidel cream (as needed)
    • October: Started taking melatonin (0.375mg) nightly
    • November: Had one acupuncture treatment¬†

 

Currently taking: Lamictal 35mg, Trileptal 4mg, melatonin 0.375mg
