When I feel good I think, “This is it-I’m finally going to stabilize”, but then, just as quickly the anxiety returns and I feel as worse as ever. Administrator Altostrata Posted June 5, 2018 Administrator Share Posted June 5, 2018 6mg is a pretty hefty melatonin dose. Have you tried 3mg? After you are on 9mg Paxil for a week, you might try reducing the melatonin. This is not medical advice. Discuss any decisions about your medical care with a knowledgeable medical practitioner. Administrator Altostrata Posted June 6, 2018 Administrator Share Posted June 6, 2018 When did you take paroxetine Tuesday morning, Hazel? It looks like it kicked in about 9 a.m. To see a pattern, we need to see something happen more than one day. Not clear if the 9mg has any effect yet. If you are dubious about it, what you might do is move another 0.5mg from the morning dose to the evening dose, keeping the total for the day 8.5mg rather than 9mg. Since you already increased the evening dose, keeping it at 2mg while reducing the morning dose 0.5mg to 6.5mg would accomplish this. This is not medical advice. I could try moving .5 of my morning dose to the evening tomorrow since I already took 7mg this morning. I am still having more anxiety during the day today. Does this sound like a bad reaction to the increase or would it be too soon to tell? I am thinking of taking 1.5 mg tonight to go back to the 8.5 mg, but if this is normal and I need to give it more time I will. Just feeling a lot more anxious today than I had been.
