Wow! I just saw Whitaker's new website and it is GREAT! All kinds of bloggers and information is nicely coming together on this new site. And it also features facebook/twitter/RSS feeds! Even with a cursory glance, I can see this is no mere facelift: there is some great new content too! The youtube video of a 12-year-old foster child testifying in a US Senate hearing about what it was like to be on psych meds seems like must-viewing in particular.

I really hope Bob continues to grow this site into a kind of centralized hub for the growing psychiatric reform movement. I'd really like to see him link together all the blogs and message boards (ahem!) on the subject of psych meds. It must be absolutely crucial that patients and the peer recovery movement is a large part of this.

Anyway, head on over to madinamerica.com right now and check it out!

Been on SSRIs since 1998:

**PSYCHIATRY: TAKE YOUR CHEMICAL IMBALANCE AND CHOKE ON IT!
