Glad you found somewhere else to live, I hope that the moving goes well. It’s quite daunting moving, so much to pack n clean. I hope u feel settled soon.

 

Im not too bad thanks , just going through windows n waves on a daily basis at the moment, but it’s bearable.

No, I didn’t get numbness but that happen with withdrawals. I get more tingling n vibrations in my legs. That’s much better though than when the akathisia kicks in. I can deal with the vibrations no problem, I don’t even really think about them.

 

It must be weird to walk if your feet are numb. 

 

No, I didn’t taper benzo but many years ago I was cold turkeyed off them n got really sick n ended up in hospital. I’m only on seroquel now n tapering that.

I'm glad  you  are in  the process of  tapering  S.  I'm sorry  about  the CT you went through... Is that when the akathisia  kicked in? 

Yes it's very strange  feeling  but getting  use to it sort of... 

 

I haven't  started  to taper yet,  Celexa first then klonopin,  I took some z drugs  on and off  so I  think that  may have had an effect...  Definitely  wding from klonopin

How are you doing? Yes, I got severe acute akathisia when I got cold turkeyed, it was horrific. I still get akathisia but there are degrees of it. If I taper too quick or don’t hold long enough it can get really bad so I won’t be doing that. This journey isn’t linear though so anything can happen at any time. All we can do is take an hour at a time and try and get through it the best we can.

Hi Carmie , yes walking is difficult  now, but doable ... I'm sorry that you have akathisia im glad you know what triggers it at least, I feel so lost at the moment , I haven't started tapering anything yet...

sometimes I'm  accepting, but  not in the last couple of days.... like i have to put a hold in my life

I’m so sorry walking is difficult for you lalala, my heart just breaks so much reading all the sad stories on here. 

 

It certainly does does feel like our lives are on hold. Somehow though we have to get through each n every day no matter how hard it is. We will really get there in the end through lots of tears n struggling. Somehow I still seem to find blessings in each day.

I sleep  like 4 - 5 but woke up  alot also thought  I  should  eat...  So got some  snack twice...  So tired and the cortisol rush wakes me up,  put 

meditations several times  but my thoughts  kept  agitating me... Have to see some  apartments...  This whole  thing  has taken  a toll on me...  I as doing OK... Oh well  hope to b OK soon

Hi Carmie,

 

I have found a place a bit more than I wanted to pay... but ok overall, had to pack very quickly and this place is much smaller so I'm still in the storm of  organizing which has left me in a state of complete stress and exhaustion. all though  slept  a bit better yesterday still  having  cortisol rush... I havent started to taper  my klonopin or celexa  which I wish to do not sure if to do dry or liquid? Its amazing  how doctors suggest 1 -2 month taper  despite what I told him about withdrawal...anyway sorry I don't have better news.

I hope you settle in nicely. Please let me know how you go when you start to taper again. I’ve been doing water titrating for years now. I’ve never used a scale. 

 

I know, how crazy is it that doctors tell you to taper meds in a month to two??? They have no idea!

Shep recommended  to start tapering Celexa first because  it could  be activating,  I  just moved  apartments  and the whole process  has taken a toll  on me,  on my sleep and fatigue.. I wanted to move first and then taper  because  it was stressful  the process  until  now...  So have been  on both meds all the time,  I  think  I  may start the benzo not sure.  I take Celexa  5mg at 9:30am

  I feel Celexa  has helped with my emotions

Hi Alto, I feel the celexa no longer is masking my emotions,  as I feel depressed, lonely with negative thoughts... crying easily.

I also had some famliy setbacks, dont have the support I need basically

Yes,  I know  thxs for  the link... I don't  want to  take drugs anymore  I'm withdrawing  from k... I feel  a bit better  with family  now...  Ok will take your  advice...  Alot  of the bad emotions  are from  taking  the drugs as it gives me fatigue  and can't  handle  stress  very  well... Alto,  You think that if I'm taking  a solution  which  is a different  brand of Celexa and I see specs it may  be  it has a layer that doesn't  dissolve so well   it can affect the me badly?
