I think it’s important to make your home relaxing n have things to look at that you love like plants or fairy lights, pretty cushions, pictures on the walls you like etc. Ive got a wall in my bedroom that my bed faces, there’s a tv there n I’ve stuck all things on the wall around the tv that make me smile. I just use blue tack. I’ve put art up there n balloons n fairy lights n positive wooden signs I’ve painted etc. when I’m stuck in bed n feel absolutely horrible it makes my day to wake up to my “happy wall.” I can’t believe how long balloons stay inflated, the ones I’ve got up there at the moment I think I blew up a month ago. I sometimes pop the balloons if I want different ones. Are you holding for a while? It is always so important to hold until one stabilises before making any other changes. Godiswithme
Hi lalala. I just saw your post on my page asking how I am tapering the Klonopin. I apologize I did not see it sooner. Are you currently tapering Klonopin? I have a Gemini scale from Amazon. I bought a couple of Exacto knives from Michael’s craft supply. I bought a pack of small paper to cut the pill on from Amazon. I also have a pill splitter. I was taking 1mg of K for 10 months. Split into 2 doses AM and PM. In Sept 2017, I started tapering. Usually 10% per month. There have been a couple of months I have held for 6 weeks. I am now at .25 mg split into 2 doses per day. It seems sooo much easier to me than using liquid to taper, but that’s just me. If you want more info, please pm me. Or respond to this post. I will be sure to check. in Aug 2014, prescribed 20 mg of escitalopram. Oct 2014, upped to 30 mg. In January 2016, "doctor" added 2mg of Abilify I had been taking .5 Xanax in AM and PM for a few years Xanax November 23rd, 2016 .25 5 times per day Took .5 Ativan in AM and .5 Ativan in PM 10 hours apart for 2 weeks and 2 days. I stopped Ativan on Nov 4th 2016 I cold turkeyed off escitalopram and Abilify on September 4, 2016 i crosses over to 1 mg of Klonopin in Dec 2016. Since withdrawal, I have occasionally taken 10mg or 20mg propranolol when my heart was pounding uncontrollably Supplements Magnesium, Vitamin C, Natural Calm magnesium drink. Just started 11/16/16 Lactium supplement 167mg at night. Godiswithme: I'm very scared Godiswithme: Xanax taper after cold-turkey of Lexapro and Abilify Jan 2017. Slowly reinstated Lexapro over 4-5 mos to 15mg. Have stayed on that amount. Sept 2017. Started tapering 1mg of Klonopin. As of May 2017, I am at .426 mg of Klonopin split into 2 doses per day. It’s stressful when you’re not ill but when going through withdrawals it would be overwhelming. I haven’t stabilised as yet from changing to compounded capsules but when I do I’m going back to the original tablet as it’s more accurate so I’ll be going through many withdrawals because of that changeover again too. So is the world of tapering. Good idea for you to hold a little while until the stress of moving to a new place has settled n you are stabilised. Not a good idea to taper if you’re not back to the baseline of withdrawal normal n have bad symptoms. Hope you’re feeling a little better soon💚 Seroquel. 2019:➡️ From 7.25mg to 5.80mg✔️ 2020➡️From 5.60 to 4.80✔️ 2021➡️From 4.60 to 4.0✔️ 2022➡️From 3.95 to 3.55✔️2023➡️ Jan 26=3.50✔️March 17=3.45✔️ June12=3.40✔️ July30=3.35✔️ Sep14=3.30✔️ Oct31=3.25✔️ 2024➡️Jan15=3.20✔️ Feb19=3.15✔️ March26=3.10✔️This is NOT medical advice.Consult your doctor. Moderator Emeritus Songbird Posted December 2, 2018 Moderator Emeritus Share Posted December 2, 2018 If you have Excel (or Open Office) you can use a spreadsheet to calculate doses. See: how-to-calculate-dosages-and-dilutions-spreadsheets-and-calculators At the bottom of my post click on one of the two files called dose_weights. You can use the weight column to calculate your dose in ml (instead of grams). It doesn't matter that it's ml instead of gram, the maths is the same. For "dose of one whole pill" (orange cell) enter 5. For "desired starting dose" (yellow cell) enter 5. For "weight" (turquoise cell) enter 10. In the green cell enter 10 for 10% dose reductions. Then all the pale turquoise cells will show you the ml you need for each dose drop. 2001–2002 paroxetine 2003 citalopram 2004-2008 paroxetine (various failed tapers) 2008 paroxetine slow taper down to 2016 Aug off paroxetine2016 citalopram May 20mg Oct 15mg … slow taper down2018 citalopram 13 Feb 4.6mg 15 Mar 4.4mg 29 Apr 4.2mg 6 Jul 4.1mg 17 Aug 4.0mg 18 Nov 3.8mg 2019 15 Mar 3.6mg 21 May 3.4mg 26 Dec 3.2mg 2020 19 Feb 3.0mg 19 Jul 2.9mg 16 Sep 2.8mg 25 Oct 2.7mg 23 Oct 2.6mg 24 Dec 2.5mg 2021 29 Aug 2.4mg 15 Nov 2.3mg Link to comment

Moderator Emeritus ChessieCat Posted January 29, 2019 Moderator Emeritus Share Posted January 29, 2019 I don't know what dose of tablet you are using. I will use 20mg tablet as an example. 20mg in 40mL - you would take 10mL solution for a 5mg dose (divide both sides by 4) 20mg in 20mL - you would take 5mL solution for a 5mg dose (divide both sides by 4) Q: Did you take the correct dose? If you have taken the correct dose it may be coincidence that you have a head ache. Or it might be the change of the concentration of the liquid. It may also be to do with your monthly cycle. We can get head aches for various reasons, not just related to withdrawal/tapering/changing formulations. * NO LONGER ACTIVE on SA * MISSION ACCOMPLISHED: (6 year taper) 0mg Pristiq on 13th November 2021 ADs since ~1992: 25+ years - 1 unknown, Prozac (muscle weakness), Zoloft; citalopram (pooped out) CTed (very sick for 2.5 wks a few months after); Pristiq: 50mg 2012, 100mg beg 2013 (Serotonin Toxicity) Tapering from Oct 2015 - 13 Nov 2021 LAST DOSE 0.0025mg Post 0 updates start here My tapering program My Intro (goes to tapering graph) VIDEO: Antidepressant Withdrawal Syndrome and its Management Link to comment

lalala
Hi chessiecat, I was decreasing but realized I was doing it wrong and not decreasing at all, I started to from 20ml of water with the 20 mg of celexa pill then instead of reducing just the ml with the same quantity I reduced the water to 18ml and with the syringe 4.5 from the solution so that would be the same quantity? anyway I'm so sleep deprived I dont know what I was thinking... So I will do my 20mg in 20mL - you would take 5mL solution for a 5mg dose (divide both sides by 4) and just decrease the ml in the syringe... this is correct?
