CGHolding
I made the cut to 17mg on Tuesday 12th February. Some withdrawal symptoms, challenging but manageable. I think the body (when on antidepressants) must find a new way to "cry"' and that's why tapering feels like a shift. Patience is key. Administrator Altostrata Posted February 18, 2019 Administrator Share Posted February 18, 2019 Thanks for the update, CG. I hear you've successfully gone off the benzodiazepines. How did that go? You might want to hold on any more mirtazapine reductions for a while, let your nervous system settle from recent drug changes. A lot of people find fish oil and magnesium supplements helpful, seehttp://survivingantidepressants.org/index.php?/topic/36-king-of-supplements-omega-3-fatty-acids-fish-oil/ http://survivingantidepressants.org/topic/15483-magnesium-natures-calcium-channel-blocker/ Try a little bit of one at a time to see how it affects you. CGHolding
Good. I was on benzos for almost ten years. I was successful with my tapering and though it got a bit rocky at lower doses, I am off it and I can't say I miss them. Thank you for your recommendations regarding supplements. I will look into it.
