A little update.....

Almost 19 mths off Lexapro and 20.5 mths off lorezapam.Overall im doing fine but still im in between waves and windows. My windows getting more longer and lasting for long.......sometimes i can get 1 whole weeks with good windows. Im still hit with waves but they are short and more managable. During pms im a bit nervous , bad feeling , akathasia and headache or dizzyness.

Im noticed my stomach still got a bit problem until now. Sometimes like acid reflux but sometimes feeling like indigested food or bloating with a lots gas. But overall got slowly improvement and better. Head pressure and brain zap slowly gone now but when im took or eat something wrong ......my head preassure will hits again and gone lately.Mostly withdrawals hits last time already dismiss but some will coming back weak when im feeling stress or eat wrongly. Im trying eat anything now except wine and coffee. Im always keep track for some food im couldnt took.

Still into healing road and hope i will get more recovery. Wishing everyone in this forum good in healing and recovery too. Take care.

Thanks for reading.......

Fantastic update miracle, you are handling withdrawal very well, your healing will continue and the waves will eventually disappear

keep it up

2001 - 2005 prozac,  2001 - 2017 various benzos, mainly diazapem and zanex,  2002 - 2017 olanzapine or seroquel,  2002 -2017 propanolol, 2005 - 2009 venlafaxine 75mg , forced to go cold turkey off venlafaxine as moved Thailand, doctor cut me off and couldn't get it there, severely ill for over 2 years, countered withdrawals with more zanex and seroquel

2014 returned to UK, mainly to get treatment getting off meds

doctor advised to taper seroquel over a few weeks, severely ill and bed bed-bound so reinstated it, 2015 tapered seroquel myself slower over a few months, was off it 2 months and was too ill so went on olanzapine, became zombie and too tired to get out of bed, went back on seroquel, very depressed so went back on venlafaxine, didnt work  so doctor swapped to zoloft became very agitated so back on venlafaxine

June 2016 - felt strong enough to begin tapering again, started what I thought was a slow taper of all meds,  2016 July Not had any alcoholic drink since this date,

2016 October completely off diazepem, 2017 Feb completely off seroquel, 2017 March completely off proponanlol, 2017 April (day before birthday) completely off venlafaxine, OFF ALL MEDS 11/4/2017, was fine for nearly 3 months and then delayed withdrawal hit,

supplements taking: turmeric capsules, NiaCel (nicotinamide riboside), Vit B12 sublingual, Vit B3, Vit B6, Vit B1, apple cider vinegar, manuka umf 10 honey, camu camu powder,  melatonin when needed, epsom salt baths, juices, smoothies,

Back to the psych ward and I was given a number of different drugs while there. Tapered off one when I got home n have been trying to taper off Seroquel since. It’s been years, tapering slowly but still having severe withdrawals.

Hi @Miracle123. You seem like you have good control of the situation and like you're very aware of the cause of your symptoms when they appear. The longer windows are so great and uplifting to hear about.

Very happy for you. Many hugs and take care.

2011-2015: Escitalopram (Cipralex) 20 mg, Voxra 300 mg (quit Voxra in late 2015, no issues)

2016: Started tapering Escitalopram 5 mg at a time, every fourth week

July 24th, 2016: Escitalopram 5 mg

April 2nd, 2017: Quit last dosage (WD worsened a lot)

Ca 6 last months of 2017: Taking Diazepam 15-25 mg irregularly, less than once a month

Ca Dec 2017: Out of Diazepam, i.e free from all prescribed drugs

Now: Still drug free

Supplements: Irregular intake of Omega-3, magnesium, vitamin D.

A little updated.

Already 2yrs 4 months off my all medicine. Overall I'm doing great and almost back to my own self.  Im can eat most of the foods without much trouble now. Mostly my symptoms almost gone and mild. Occasionally I'm still hits with some mild waves but they gone very quickly.

Beside that I'm took some multivitamins, fish oil ,cq10, B complex to boost my immune systems.

Im noticed no longer overly sensitive but still needed more alert on talking some food or drinks which might triggers body reaction. Just only few day im took for 3 days antibiotics amoxicillin to treat sores throat.  Ended up still hits with some discomfort like burning sensations over arms,  heart pounding and stomach upset. So still need to take precautions when take some medication or food. Hope everything will over very soon.

Hope all doing well and fine too. Take good care.

That is great to hear you are feeling better! Unfortunate that the antibiotic caused a minor wave. All the best in continued healing! Thanks for the update!

I follow The Plant Paradox lifestyle by Dr.Gundry. This lifestyle has given me my life back and I feel better than I have ever felt in my life. It has enabled me to finally get off of this medication and truly live my life. Nutrition is the key to health!!!!!

2008 to 2019  - 20 mg Paroxetine

Attempted 2 CT's around the 5-6 year mark. Were absolutely terrible and reinstated. Was never explained by the doctor the seriousness of the short half life of this drug.

2017 - Attempted a tapered discontinuation of this drug and reinstated after being unsuccessful.

2019 - Feb. 12 - After a three month taper I am off of paroxetine. The 3 months were terrible, awful withdrawal feelings. I followed the doctors guidelines for the reduction of this drug and now know it was way too fast.

2019 - Oct. 12 - 8 months off paroxetine. 75% improvement since coming off the drug. Definitely have had tons of challenges along the way. Let’s go!!!!

Thank you! Yes, I am feeling way better. I have remained very focused on my nutrition as whenever I am undisciplined I get my butt whooped by a wave. I will not let this happen anymore! You have a great evening 😃

So good to hear you're doing well. I can imagine the antibiotics could stir up some symptoms, so hope you're doing better now. I've never heard of cq10 so I'll look into that actually, seems interesting from a quick google search.

Take care, big hugs to you.

Hi Miracle,

Sorry to hear that antibiotics affected you badly. I’m so glad though you’re almost recovered from withdrawals though. It’s amazing that even years later you can still get a reaction to things such as antibiotics even though you’re doing well overall.

Here’s to being fully recovered one of these days🧡

Been on antipsychotics, benzos, antidepressants and painkillers for chronic pain.

Have been cold turkeyed and put on and off all sorts of things.  Was suicidal n ended up in a psych ward because I had akathisia from withdrawals. I can’t remember what I was put on but when I was released was in the same predicament with severe akathisia n was suicidal again.
