I cope by staying busy forcing myself to be positive friendly and active. It does feel weird when inside you don't feel quite right but it beats giving in to it. I also do the basics—try to get good sleep, don't eat sugar, caffeine, carbs. It sounds like you're still a coffee drinker so staying off caffeine works for me but might not for you.
