I listened to music, played some words games when I was able, did a little bit of my sunflower diamond painting n Iāve just been watching McLeodās Daughters ( goodĀ olā Aussie show). Moderator Emeritus Carmie Posted June 5, 2019 Author Moderator Emeritus Share Posted June 5, 2019 Hi one and all,Ā Ā I want to help out more on this site, but lately Iāve got so much to deal with that when I start reading the sad stories on here it triggers me. I canāt cope with it at the moment, but I hope to be more active in the future.Ā Ā Iām tryingĀ to focus on positives, so I today I will focus on posting ten positives. Here goes: Ā (1) Iāve got a comfy bed. Iām in bed again today due to my illness, but Iām very grateful that I do have a comfy bed. Loooove my weighted blanket. I highly recommend it when going through withdrawals. Ā (2) Iām watching Gilmore Girls. Iāve been watching shows where people have travelled the world and tried all the different cuisines in various countries. I find travel shows that are combined with food extremely entertaining. Ā (4) I got to go out last night and spend time with friends. I spent the whole day in bed so I could do that. It was such an encouraging and upbuilding time. My friends are the best! Ā (5) IāmĀ doing a diamond painting of a train now. Loooove trains.ššš Iād love to go on a train journey, on one of those old trains like the one on Murder On The Orient Express.Ā Ā (6) My cat. IĀ love when sheās purring away. Prrrrrrr! Ā (7) Looked through photos Iāve taken. I love taking photos of nature. Nature really is the coolest thing ever! Ā (8) Having heart to hearts with friends is wonderful.Ā Ā (9) Iāve been invited to dinner this Saturday night, which Iām looking forward to. Hope Iām well enough.Ā Ā (10) Giving people presents makes me happy.Ā Ā Okay, so those are my ten positives for today. Please everyone, write down what you are grateful for, if not on this site, than in a notebook. It does help to continue to look at the positives. Moderator Emeritus Carmie Posted June 5, 2019 Author Moderator Emeritus Share Posted June 5, 2019 P.s. Today is day 49 since I dropped from 7.25mg to 7mg. I thinkĀ Iām going to make the leap to 6.75mg tonight. Ā Iāve been under a lot of stress, but I think Iāve stabilised. I had so much head pressure n also ear pain, but thatās subsided. Itās time to make the leap again. Ā There are always so many things to take into account when someone does the next drop. Have I stabilised enough? I think I have. Ā Ā Ā Can IĀ continue to cope with the stress around me ( unrelated to withdrawals) ? I think I can.Ā Ā The other thing is: IfĀ you feel you are stable enough to continue to taper and you just keep waiting, that in itself is stressful. I feel the need for forward movement now Iāve stabilised.Ā Ā Here goes. I donāt know how severe the waves will be. I just take an hour at a time as usual. Hereās to moving forward. Moderator Emeritus Carmie Posted June 16, 2019 Author Moderator Emeritus Share Posted June 16, 2019 Just documenting,Ā and alsoĀ writing my gratitude list for the day. Itās day 11 since tapering from 7mg to 6.75mg. Still going through the usual windows and waves. JackieDecides
big hugs back to you, Carmie! I am going to write my gratitude list next.Ā Currently taking Ramapril (blood pressure) 5 mg twice a day Omeprazole 10 mg AM and 20 mg PMĀ (the taper has gone nowhere after the first cut) FamotidineĀ Ā once a day (and I still needs tums sometimes) magnesium 200 mg at night as of yesterday 2 fish oil capsules "EPA-DHA 1000" Ā off Lexapro as of 5/2018Ā - last dose had been 5 mg every other day for a couple years Ā highest dose had been 20 mg at which point I was diagnosed with Bipolar II, which went away when I cut the lexapro down to 15 mg.Ā Ā I spent years on Paxil before Lexapro (can't remember dose), briefly on Effexor and Abilify and others I have forgotten. in fact, when I was diagnoses with BPII I was put on all kinds of things which made me feel so bad I stopped them cold turkey within maybe 3 or 4 weeks, thank goodness. since then I've known these pills were terrible and I weaned down the Lexapro with zero help or support over I'm not sure how many years.Ā Ā Link to comment

Thatās always very encouraging, itās good to have hugs and a laugh. Felt so sick towards the end and had to lie down, but my friends are all coolš. They take me as I come.Ā Ā 2.
