bluepm
Thank you for responding I’ve been steady on the Remeron 7.5 mg that is not a new drug. I tried to reinstate with Prozac it did not work I tried it 5 mg and it was just too strong cause me anxiety so I stopped taking it. I tried it for two weeks New medication The other option I had was Abilify 2 mg from the doctor I tried 2 milligrams at first it was too strong cause me anxiety so I went to a quarter of a pill .5 mg twice a day really didn’t do too much as far as stabilizing me.I advise the doctor of this method he said you can do it but that’s not what they really recommend. Kalana pin was the last Z drug I was on as noted in my write up I stopped in April 2018. My goal is to stop taking these medications the only reason I’m taking Remeron this so I can sleep at night and get past the withdraws from the Z drug it’s my understanding that it could take anywhere from 6 to 18 months for your GABA receptors to heal and at that point I would stop taking all other medications buy tapering them . Enough information I plan on seeing my doctor again November 29, He is a psychiatrist and he is not big on prescribing drugs arbitrarily do you have any suggestions on how to talk to him about these medications because in his mind 10 mg of Prozac is a baby dose also he thinks that I’m not in with drawl from the benzo’s because I’ve been often on for eight months I do have some Indarall I take as needed 10 mg for anxiety it does call me down some I have vistoral like take as needed as wellAnd hundred milligrams in a nortonThese medications I do not take on a regular basis only as needed. I also started taking a probiotic I’ll add that into the mix I don’t know if it will affect any of these medications I’m trying to eat right and get the good gut healthWith the help of some probiotics I just don’t know if there’s any other medication that can help calm my nerves besides the Z drug After listening to a webcast yesterday that my brain is sensitive to these Polly drugs that I cannot take them in large doses they have to be microdoses is there anything that could help me a while while I am trying to manage my withdraws from the z drug and possibly the Prozac. buspar 7/16 to 4/17 does 45 mg, 30 mg , 15mg then 60 mg stopped did not like the side effects tapered paxil 10 mg 10 /16 11 / 16 bad reaction stopped xanax .25 mg as needed 10 /16 30 days only stopped ativan 1/17 1 mg 30 days supply tapper off the best i could 1/16/18 stopped prozac 4/16 to 1/17 20 mg start then 6 months 40 mgs then down 10/17 to 20 mgs off 2/17 bad reaction stopped klonopin .5 three daily as needed took .5 for 30 days when getting on Prozac 5/1/17 stopped then started again 1/2/18 to 4/10 stopped by tapering over 30 days down to .125 a day. though time, but better now stopped Mertizipine 11/16 to present started 15 mg at 7.5 mg 4/17 to 7/18 , 7/4/18 3.5 mg skipping does the plan was to go off it while on Prozac but it never worked back on 7.5 mg Link to comment

Administrator Altostrata Posted November 22, 2018 Administrator Share Posted November 22, 2018 bluepm, I just re-read your entire topic. As long as you've been a member here, even though we've repeatedly told you not to, you've been switching your drugs, going up and down in dosage, adding drugs, dropping drugs, taking drugs on different schedules. It is possible you have some kind of withdrawal syndrome; taking a bit of mirtazapine seems to help with the sleep problems -- yet you continually change your mirtazapine dosage. At several points, you have reported very, very mild symptoms or no symptoms at all. Still, you continue to play with psychiatric drugs for no good reason. Whatever you're up to, I'm doubtful we can help you here. You don't listen to what we say and it seems you have perhaps health anxiety or some other habit of mind where you constantly worry about minor symptoms, then run to the doctor for drugs to treat them. Read Non-drug techniques to cope with emotional symptoms Health anxiety, hypochondria, and obsession with symptoms Strongly recommend 1) stop changing your mirtazapine dosage, stay on one dosage, take at the same time each day; 2) stop trying other drugs; 3) see a psychotherapist or other counselor for coaching in Cognitive Behavior Therapy to manage your health anxiety. We do not offer psychotherapeutic services here. PS I am wondering if "heavy breathing" means hyperventilation. If that's the case, you're causing your own problems. Make an effort to breathe normally. This is not medical advice. Discuss any decisions about your medical care with a knowledgeable medical practitioner. bluepm
I’m following up on your last comments you’re absolutely correct I’m trying to stabilize but I’m finding it very difficult it is true I tried some other drugs but not for very long and I understand that it creates havoc on your nervous system the longest antidepressant I was on was Prozac the longest it’s seem to work but when I tried to get a back on it last time 5 mg it was causing me anxiety revving me up as you suggested previously 1 mg would be the correct dose reinstate again I did not listen I upped my dose mertizapine per the doctors orders to 15 mg December 1 per doctor‘s instructions has done nothing for me I’m still the same uneasiness in the mornings I have no choice I have to go to the doctor to get prescriptions filled I’m seeing a psychiatrist again he’s not pushing anything on me he makes suggestions I want do is stabilized I think one of the underlying problems I have is I have a drawl symptoms from the benzo’s heavy breathing is air hunger I checked on benzo buddies and a lot of people have that symptom. Your site has a lot of good information I go to a group called recovery Intl twice a week it has help me tremendously as far as coping skill goes any additional information will be helpful if not then I’ll just follow your instructions above. Or I just grin and bear it until it passes stay on the mirtazapine reduce it back down to 7.5 mg I know you suggested to other people to use the lamictal May that be an alternative I suggested that to the doctor very low dose as you stated in your previous emails. buspar 7/16 to 4/17 does 45 mg, 30 mg , 15mg then 60 mg stopped did not like the side effects tapered paxil 10 mg 10 /16 11 / 16 bad reaction stopped xanax .25 mg as needed 10 /16 30 days only stopped ativan 1/17 1 mg 30 days supply tapper off the best i could 1/16/18 stopped prozac 4/16 to 1/17 20 mg start then 6 months 40 mgs then down 10/17 to 20 mgs off 2/17 bad reaction stopped klonopin .5 three daily as needed took .5 for 30 days when getting on Prozac 5/1/17 stopped then started again 1/2/18 to 4/10 stopped by tapering over 30 days down to .125 a day. though time, but better now stopped Mertizipine 11/16 to present started 15 mg at 7.5 mg 4/17 to 7/18 , 7/4/18 3.5 mg skipping does the plan was to go off it while on Prozac but it never worked back on 7.5 mg Link to comment
