Is anyone else constantly running into walls?

Hellbutrin

Recommended Posts

This sounds a little ridiculous. But it's almost like my depth perception is so messed up that I can't see the wall out of my peripheral vision so I'm constantly running the side of my body into walls.

  1. Started Wellbutrin 75 mg IR the end of 2015.
  2. Tried quitting cold turkey in June 30th- July 3rd 2017.
  3. Had severe withdrawals.
  4. Was placed on Wellbutrin 100mg SR so I could taper without withdrawal.
  5. Stabilized on 100mg SR for most of the month of July.
  6. Started tapering on July 17th,  2017.
  7. Completed taper on August 8th, 2017.
  8. Currently experiencing severe withdrawal.
  • Symptoms- Currently experiencing anhedonia, depersonalization/derealization, concentration/memory issues, chronic congestion, chronic dry eyes, dry skin, dislocated TMJ joint from teeth grinding during C/T withdrawal, waves of depression, anxiety, nausea, morning cortisol spikes, insomnia, agitation, food sensitivities, no tolerance for caffeine and chronic fatigue, burning muscle pain in upper and lower back and occasional tinninitus.
  • Supplements- Omega-3 fish oil supplement twice daily, 100 mg of magnesium once daily.

Door ways were my favorite. I had bruises on my shoulders for months.

20 years on Paxil starting at 20mg and working up to 40mg. Sept 2011 started 10% every 6 weeks taper (2.5% every week for 4 weeks then hold for 2 additional weeks), currently at 7.9mg. Oct 2011 CTed 15oz vodka a night, to only drinking 2 beers most nights, totally sober Feb 2013.

Since I wrote this I have continued to decrease my dose by 10% every 6 weeks (2.5% every week for 4 weeks and then hold for an additional 2 weeks). I added in an extra 6 week hold when I hit 10mg to let things settle out even more. When I hit 3mgpw it became hard to split the drop into 4 parts so I switched to dropping 1mgpw (pill weight) every week for 3 weeks and then holding for another 3 weeks.  The 3 + 3 schedule turned out to be too harsh so I cut back to dropping 1mgpw every 4 weeks which is working better.

Final Dose 0.016mg.     Current dose 0.000mg 04-15-2017

Yes, at least2-3 times per day now. Did you have issues with your memory and problems with severe depression? These are my two most distressing symptoms. Are you only on Wellbutrin?

I had problems with my memory before. In fact, my inability to concentrate and remember is what got me on these drugs in the first place. My depression was caused by my inability to concentrate and remember, which really significantly affected my performance in school. I’m currently not on anything, but when all of this happened, I had a drug interaction with Wellbutrin, Adderall, and Hydrochlorothiazide (for blood pressure).

It should pass @jeremy1069. I was walking into doors and walls and everything and my whole center of gravity was shifted, like I was walking sideways. How long have you been bumping into stuff?
