justin1974: Switching from Lexapro to Prozac

Hello. I started on Lexapro 10mg over 3 months ago for depression/anxiety and it has helped a little bit but not very much. Side effects of nausea and jaw clenching are still no picnic. I'd like to switch to Prozac instead of trying to taper off Lexapro alone with hopes to then taper off Prozac when I'm feeling stronger emotionally. Start up side effects for Lexapro were pretty severe. Would I experience side effects even worse by switching to Prozac? Is it easier since I'm kind of stable now or would the effects of stopping one and starting the other be mind blowing? I'm very sensitive to medications. How should I educate my doctor on the best way to transition if she doesn't know already?
