Rosetta
That must be scary. I suspect it's a muscle spasm that your brain is registering as coming from inside your head. RandyJames
How are you doing jonny? Any improvements? Hope you're good. 1994-2009 benzos from age 20 to 36. Added Cymbalta 60mg in 2007. 2008-2009 tapered benzos to zero and quit Cymbalta Cold turkey. WD HELL for two years 2011 started on Lexapro to combat the withdrawal and it worked. 2015 switched to Prozac as Lexapro was not working as well 2017 quit Prozac cold turkey November and crashed into WD. Reinstated Prozac In December with no benefit. 2018 Switched back to Lexapro in January and it took most of the issues away in around 2-3 weeks 2019 In February Lexapro has pooped out and WD feelings back. Tolerance WD I'm sure. March 12th Upped my dose to 30 mgs per doctor's advice to see if Tolerance WD goes away but have had worsening sleep issues with limbs jerking and less sleep. March 17th dropped back down to 20 mgs and had less limb jerking last night but sleep no better. April 20th cut to 18mg. Link to comment
jonnypeters1234567
I grew up a hardworking very focused and driven individual. I always wanted to be the best. Studied like crazy for exams always strived to be the best I could be. I was a straight A student at school. I opted to study Law at university as I thought it would be the toughest challenge available to me and also achievable. I began social drinking alcohol as university as it involved a lot of socialising. I quickly began loosing my health, starting feeling tired all the time, sweating a lot, craving sugar all the time, headaches and anxiety. I went to the doctor as I was struggling to make it to seminars. She prescribed me citalopram. I thought the only option available to me was to take this drug as I thought a doctor would know about other solutions to the problem and this must be a the only option. I now realise now that I had insulin resistance causing anxiety symptons. I kept telling her that I thought I was hypoglycemc or it was sugar related as I was craving sweet foods and carbs. If only the doctor suggested magnesium or vitamins for my problem. On the tablet I was spellbound into thinking this must be my only option. i now have total amnesia of the 10 years I was on the tablet. My only memory is in the house I took the tablet. 10 years completely gone. i have now come out 100 times worse. My body and mind is in complete chaos every day and has been for the last 2 years. I am finding it hard to live with myself for how stupid and gullible I was. i know this cycle is going to continue and continue untill doctors take a more functional approach to mental health. I think the majority of us have endocrine problems and not mental health problems. It's an absolutely devastating. ive had lots of counciling but the problem is more deep rooted more of s spiritual thing. Even so Not letting stuff go was a personality trait I was fond over, it was what made me me. I was a very strong minded individual. I feel I can't just be counciled into a different individual just to get over this. does anyone else feel like this? i feel I have been royally screwed over. 2009-2010 Citalopram 20mg CT no problems Sertaline 2010- 6monnths 2011- 2017 June 2017- Citalopram 20mg CT Link to comment
