What should you do about what?

You have drug-related symptoms. It's possible you have withdrawal symptoms from cold-turkeying Ativan and Seroquel, reducing Zoloft about a month ago, or you might be having a reaction to the Seroquel.

What time of night do you take Seroquel and what time do you have these symptoms?

Alto take Seroquel at 1030pm.These anxiety hitting me in the middle of the night last 4-5 nights last all day.The seroquel isn't sedating me anymore.this anxiety is so bad hard to deal with it.what should I do.I'm worried about two things last week a week and a half ago we had to guest here who was smoking weed for 3 or 4 days at night and in the daytime and I was exposed to secondhand smoke and a lot of it so I'm worried that that may have destabilize me really bad or my shot of testosterone that I took a couple days ago.

I've been wondering if the testosterone replacement therapy is what's causing my anxiety. This is a tough one because if you don't have enough of it you get anxiety and then if you have too much or dose at the wrong time then you get anxiety so I'm still in a bind with this one. I'm sure my urologist is not going to have a clue about withdrawing from psych meds so I think it's going to be hard for him to answer that question how it's affecting me.

Rabe  did you stop taking Premarian. Something's been popping up with me now I have to take testosterone because I test low every time and I'm worried that it's making my withdrawals worse I'm not sure but just the fact that I'm adding another substance into the picture. The downfall is if I don't take it I get anxiety depression and DP what was your experience taking hormones

You had a shot of testosterone? Are you kidding me? When was that? Did your symptoms increase afterward?

Why is this not in your signature? Do you take ANY other drugs?

What time in the middle of the night? Midnight? 2 a.m.? 3 a.m.?

You may notice I keep asking the DATES and TIMES things happen. That is because I need this information. Please do not make me ask this over and over.

Don't worry about secondhand marijuana smoke.

I've been taking the testosterone for years and also during my withdraws it's really hard to tell if it's affecting me or not because if this just could be a wave I don't know.

I'm waking up because I'm sensitive to noises throughout the night between 2 and 4 a.m. and I can't go back to sleep after that and then the anxiety is really bad the next day

do you think it would be okay to take a benzo short-term to get me through this. Or do you think it's going to make me worse

Rus,

Im having a terrible day today...did not sleep well, my anxiety is off the scales, my head and chest feel like they are on fire, I keep rocking to comfort myself...it is WD and I sure dont like it. I wanted to go see my daughter today but that is not going to happen.  I am going to try some grounding and breathing and distraction.  Have you looked up any of the coping skills on the site?  More drugs is not the answer...the drugs are why we are here in the first place...remember?

Please try to read what Alto has written...put the exact times...not general like middle of the night...put 3am...ok?  Alto cannot help you if you do not give her the information she needs.  Calm a bit and then read and focus on what she is asking of you ok?  I know it is difficult but she needs the dates and the times your symptoms occur...like I said.  Keep a notebook and a pen and paper by your side and with you so you can jot them down...you will forget otherwise and guessing isn't good cause if its not right then you wont get the best advice.

I understand...we are all new at it really because it is forever changing.  Im very sad today that I cannot see my child and grandchild but it is what it is...dont want to hurt myself or someone else driving when I cannot focus.  There will be another day for that.  And there will be windows!!!  Hang in there!

The moderator check in ... they volunteer and have thousands of people to deal with so I would say keep your symptoms and med journal for today and then post it all in one place tomorrow morning...they aren't going to want to try to read it split up here and there.  Just post everything together in the morning and someone will get back to you.

I see that you have updated your signature...thats good!

Just worry about your updates and all...we all will take care of ours, k?

Everything is confusing, especially on a rough day...I cant think straight at all...crying and pacing and whatever.  But hoping tomorrow is better.  You are doing ok...you're not doing something wrong.  The staff will get back to you...

But as I said...post everything the way Alto outlined it tomorrow morning from today

1am: your symptoms

3am: your symptoms

9am: your symptoms, how did you sleep

2pm:  your zoloft and how you are

etc

You get a testosterone shot every 4 DAYS? The half-life of Testosterone cypionate when injected intramuscularly is approximately eight days.

The shots are usually given every 2-4 WEEKS. If you are getting them more often, you may be experiencing overdose. Testosterone is not intended to be given for years.

Testosterone is a steroid. You must have heard of adverse effects from steroids? Read side effects of testosterone.

Nausea is a common side effect, particularly after the injection.

From your signature, it does not appear that you reinstated Zoloft. Rather, you cold-turkeyed Ativan, probably experienced withdrawal insomnia, went on Zoloft and Zyprexa, switched to Seroquel, and cold-turkeyed that. Then you messed around with your Zoloft and Seroquel dosage, and now you're here complaining about your symptoms -- all the while not mentioning the testosterone injections.

Any of your cold turkeys OR the testosterone could be causing your symptoms. You need to taper the testosterone injections. You do this by getting gradually decreasing injection strengths. We don't off support for such tapering on this Web site, or any kind of counseling for steroid use.

Your lack of cooperation and demanding tone are inappropriate. Please stop posting every time you want to vent. You're making extra work for us.

Why don't you taper off the testosterone injections and come back when this is done? You'll need to keep daily notes of your symptoms, when you take your drugs, and their dosages throughout, to determine if going off testosterone makes you feel better or worse, or if tapering that causes other withdrawal symptoms.

Otherwise, we can't help you. I'm not going to put up with the difficulty of counseling you through psychiatric drug changes when the cause of your symptoms could be something else entirely.
