Bunyapine
With my unrelenting internal tremors that I have had since reducing Prozac, I am losing a lot of weight. I read an article by a psychological Association that said carbohydrates were recommended for this. However with my food sensitivities I find this hard. I find there is no rhyme or reason to my food sensitivity. My tremors can get worse with protein or carbohydrate and I don’t always get a reaction to the same food. I wondered if anyone had any suggestions. Sorry if there is a topic already setup, but I couldn’t find it. Also my internal tremors did improve a bit after 2 years of holding, but after another .5 mg reduction they ramped up again with a steep increase in ocd and anxiety. 1987 Anafranil 1987-1989 Prothiaden 1990-Jan 2015 Prozac 40mg Feb-Mar Prozac 30mg Ap-Nov Prozac 20mg (+10mg Zoloft for 1 week in Sept) Dec Prozac 10mg 2016 Jan-2017 Oct Prozac 15mg Nov Prozac 14mg Nov Prozac14.5mg Other drugs Humira and Methotrexate for rheumatoid arthritisSupplements :Magnesium and calcium.Folic acid 5mg. bubbles
I haven't lost any weight, well maybe a couple of pounds, but that's from actually not eating at all periodically. It's extremely hard! Did the article say that carbs were recommended to stop you losing weight? That would be consistent with the fact that lower carb diets seem to be more successful for weight loss. If protein and carbs are iffy for you, are you able to increase your fats? Avocado, as Gridley said, eggs cooked in butter, cream etc? Does that set you off? 2005 St John's Wort / 2006-2012 Lexapro 20mg, 2 failed attempts to stop, tapered over 4.5 months in early 2012 January 2013 started Sertraline, over time worked up to 100mg July 2014 Sertraline dropped from 100mg to 75mg, held for six months, slower tapering until 2019 22 Dec 3.2mg 2020 Sertraline 19 Jan 3.1mg, 26 Jan 3.0mg; 1 Mar 2.9, 7 Mar 2.8, May (some drops here) 24 May 2.5, May 29 2.4, June 21 2.3, June 28 2.2mg, July 4 2.1mg, July 24 (or maybe a bit before) 2mg, early Nov switched to home made suspension; 29 Nov 1.8mg; approx 25 Dec 1.6mg) 2021 Some time in about Jan/Feb realised probably on more like 1.8mg and poss mixing error in making suspension; doses after 10 Feb accurate; 10 Feb 1.6mg; 7 Mar 1.4, continued monthly 10% drops until 1mg, then dropped 0.1mg monthly. May 2022,0.1mg, now dropping 0.01mg per week 29 August 2022 - first day of zero! Bunyapine
Thanks @bubbles. I am still eating, but I am probably not eating as much as I used to because of food sensitivities. They said to eat carbs to maintain weight if you are losing it. Unfortunately I don’t like avocados. I have just had an egg sandwich for lunch and as usual experienced the increase in tremors, but these will get less in another hour or so. One has to eat and I have a decent appetite. 1987 Anafranil 1987-1989 Prothiaden 1990-Jan 2015 Prozac 40mg Feb-Mar Prozac 30mg Ap-Nov Prozac 20mg (+10mg Zoloft for 1 week in Sept) Dec Prozac 10mg 2016 Jan-2017 Oct Prozac 15mg Nov Prozac 14mg Nov Prozac14.5mg Other drugs Humira and Methotrexate for rheumatoid arthritisSupplements :Magnesium and calcium.Folic acid 5mg.
