Nikki Posted March 15, 2012 Share Posted March 15, 2012 Hi... It may take some more time for me to sort this out. I just went thru an Imipramine taper and I had bad insomnia. I was like a Zombie... My MD said to take Celexa in AM because in some, it can cause insomnia. Taking it in the AM made me like a Zombie... I went back to taking it @ night and I don't fall asleep like I usually do. Guess what....if I am not well rested - you got it - I feel like a Zombie Although I am feeling much better, I think I will continue to take it @ night and give time time. If the sleep things doesn't improve, I guess I will have to switch back to the AM and see how that fares. Anyone here on or off Celexa (Citalopram) and can relate your experience??? Initially I wasn't sure if I felt that way due to insomnia. The good news is that the insomnia has finally ended. I supposed it was all related to finishing the Imipramine.
