Hi Mandy and welcome to SA,

You say you "haven't picked up at all".  Have you noticed any improvements since you reinstated?   When we feel bad it is very easy to miss noticing that some things aren't as bad as they were.  And some of what you are feeling now is most probably from feeling scared.  That is understandable.

What you have experienced is withdrawal symptoms from going off your drug too quickly.  I had a similar thing happen when I tried to reduce my dose of Pristiq from 100mg to 50mg.  Thankfully I found SA and reinstated.  I've since been following SA's tapering suggestion of reducing no more than 10% of the current dose followed by a hold of about 4 weeks which allows the brain to adapt to not getting as much of the drug.  I'm now down to 5.5mg Pristiq.

It takes about 4 days for a dose change to get to full level in the blood and a bit longer for it to register in the brain.  It may take a few months before you are fully stabilised, and then you can taper carefully.  It's a good idea to keep daily notes on paper so that you can be objective about symptoms.

Please have a read of these topics:
