It is not dangerous and goes away while healing progresses. I have had POTS probably all my life. Now, after the withdrawal crash it got worse for me but I hope it levels out again after withdrawal. hey did your pots ever go away? & did you take medication for it? @withhopeinmyheart im going through the same. I can’t even stand, I just lay in bed all day currently 1 April 2022- Only 1 celxa pill 10mg had an adverse reaction & never took anymore again Link to comment
withhopeinmyheart
I'm sorry to hear that, @peaceandlove. My POTS back then leveled out to my normal once I stabilized. I never took medication as there's so much trial and error and even a specialist told me that everything so far is experimental. Now that I'm in withdrawal again, POTS also got worse. I'm in bed a lot and have difficulty showering... 1 Escitalopram August 2015 - 20mg Some time in winter 2017 down to 10mg with no problems May 21 2018 5mg, June 4 2018 2.5mg, June 18 2018 0mg October 2 2018 arriving in hell Reinstated 0.25mg October 27 2018 0.35mg, November 23 2018 0.5mg, November 24 2018 0.6mg November 28 2018 0.5mg and holding since June 2019 Finally stable at 0.5mg January 2020 - Dezember 2023 tapered to 0 without many issues, jumped from 0.02mg January 3 2024 crash Taking fish oil and magnesium L-Thyroxin 75 for Hashimoto's Link to comment

Yes, same here I usually am a person that showers everyday but I’ve been skipping days or just doing sponge baths lately 😞 Idk if you have a shower bench but I do & it really helps. How do you go about eating, are you able to get up and make yourself food? @withhopeinmyheart April 2022- Only 1 celxa pill 10mg had an adverse reaction & never took anymore again Link to comment
withhopeinmyheart
@peaceandlove oh, I need to get a shower bench, I don't have one, yet. We only have a bath tub, so I have to climb in. I can "quickly" grab some toast for breakfast. My husband does the rest of the cooking. But I also "hide". I have the freeze response going on because withdrawal hit me unexpectedly after 4,5 good years. But I see you know that feeling. Adverse reaction... I'm sorry. Ahw I’m glad you have your husband to help you! Yes the shower bench is a must from Amazon & also I don’t know if your willing to spend about $60 you can get a Walker with a seat on it, that way you can just roll around the house instead of walk. I got it from Amazon too. yes, I know the feeling. Thank you. I hope both of our POTS go away soon. @withhopeinmyheart 1 April 2022- Only 1 celxa pill 10mg had an adverse reaction & never took anymore again Link to comment
