Hello sass

work continues to dominate at the moment due to manager and I not seeing eye to eye . We have worked together 15 years always got on like house on fire but she’s got herself into a toxic relationship that’s affecting her at work . Big time! 

Hopefully things will settle . 

How are you and what are you up to? 

I need to post to you and Anna . I’ve read all that you both post then jump off back to work. 

Partner not well at the moment he’s been poorly for a month  and hospital have booked him in for emergency colonoscopy  which Is this Sunday . Last few days he seems to be picking up so that’s good . I’ve been cooking for him and his two children of a weekend and Saturday just gone I took his daughter to uni to pick all her belongings  up to take home . So I truly haven’t had a minute . 

My grass needs cutting my house needs cleaning etc etc 

I’m not moaning I like busy but without the work stress . 

Thank you for thinking of me sass and continuing to post . 

Tell me how you fill your days 

do you have children / grandchildren ? 

Where abouts In Scotland are you my brother in law lives in Inverness Morayshire it’s lovely there and I’ve been to Edinburgh loads of times with family and friends different occasions.

Hope things are improving at work, won't mention again  at present.

Is your partner improving?

You certainly have your hands full but remember you need a bit of respite as well, we all think we can do it until we can't and it is a horrible realisation.

Please take care and I can guarantee you the dust will still be there and so will the lawn.

I have no children and not sure I would have been much of a parent.

My first wife was a part time nanny and really wanted a family but following an infection and operation on her fallopian tubes ( not sure I spelt it right ) she was unable to have children.

We did briefly discuss adoption but she wanted her own.

I have never believed in looking back except for happy nostalgia,  so I just carried on spending a lot of time away.

When I was at home we grew more distant until we arrived at the inevitable not helped by her alcoholic father, her mother was a lovely woman.

It's fair to say I did not try hard enough to understand, but I was young and ambitious we learn by experience.

It is possible I had over 30 kids at some point ( what a man eh ).

Driver Keith walked into my office one day. I had a new tractor unit in the yard awaiting signwriting ( remember that before computer graphics? ).

Keith- I will have to take the new unit.

Me- Why?

Keith-The fridge light is not working on mine

Me- Is the fridge working ( he was going to Spain )

Keith- Yes but the light isn't.

Me- Its June,light 18 hours a day. Go away but in truck driver language.

This is just burble, so different from work, you can always hit delete.😁

Will answer other question tomorrow. What a cliffhanger.

Partner still poorly I’m cooking again tonight pie mash and mushy peas god I love mushy peas !! 

Manager at work still being off but maybe a little better yesterday. We will have to wait and see what Tuesday brings after the bank holiday .

I met my husband when we worked together I was 19. We got married when I was 25 had two children a boy and a girl who are now 30 and 32. The daughter is having her first baby in July so I’m going to be a nan for the first time.  Something I was always looking forward to being a nan but this wd is brutal and has suppressed all my emotions . But not forever !! 

Anyway my husband and I were together 36 years . I was happy. Then 6 years ago my best friend died of breast cancer her children were 8 and 12 at the time and I helped their dad look after  them. Long story short we fell in love and I separated from my husband . But the guilt remains and I am finding it so hard to get on with my life as my husband is a good man . I still try and do family things together with the children and my husband. Think the wd accentuates the guilt unbearably at times for me.

No use feeling guilty we cannot control our hearts anymore than our brains with this WD, but I know it is not that easy.

It sounds as though you have all made the best of the situation which says a lot about the personalities of yourself, your husband and kids.

Georgie is adorable and in great condition, does she get a shower and blow dry every week. You do know you cannot perm a dog?😁

As for Keith. About two months later took a container to Tilbury and rung me to say he had got a job Dawn Sarf and the truck was at

L.I.F.T. ( London Iinternation Freight Terminal ) keys in office, forward his cheque. Sent his cheque less cost of driver to get truck about £3.50 left for him I think.

He could have left it at Manchester International Freight Terminal then I would really have known how he felt. Bit obscure but I know you are clever.

Dog pics are, Danny GSD, Mac prick ears as on my profile pic, Tango underneath on settee and being savaged by Mac in the snow, Sunny died Oct 2017 badly abused rescue who only came alive when he discovered balls and water.

SA help stuck here now

Not good news on colonoscopy front . They took 17 samples for biopsy different sites and swelling in area meant they couldn’t get camera past . Referred for emergency CT scan. 

Wasnt told what it could be but he went to doctors today armed with paperwork from hospital and dr said she doesn’t think it’s cancer from what she has read.

Don't know if the mods have replied but I have had dry mouth, cracks in the corners of my mouth/lips and a foul taste for a long time.

The taste has gone but dry mouth has not and think yourself lucky you do not have to shave.

Hair is very thin on top but growing everywhere else including corner of mouth. Shaving is interesting !!!!!

Hope you enjoy the movie and keep everything crossed for Paul.

Tough on the kids, you must be god sent for them.

movie was great better than bohemian rhapsody and I loved that. Funny how songs can transport you back in time . “Don’t go breakin my heart I couldn’t if I tried..” Elton and keke Dee remember? I was sixteen and on my first girly holiday to Waymouth in a caravan. I had a great time.  

waiting for date of scan to come through even though emergency they said up to 4 week wait .

me and nut job (call her this because of her big round brown head) doing ok.

Work better this week . Sam and I back to talking so life is a little easier but at least it took my mind off me for a little while if nothing else.

Golf, good walk spoilt, my sports were rugby and rowing at school, rowing and rallycross in my twenties. Oh and discovered girls at some point.😈

Cooking, beans on toast. Used to cook but my wife spent most of the time telling me what I was doing wrong so got out of that one.

Holidays, fancy caravan sat on drive unused for the last two years because I have not trusted my driving during that time.

Bet you like the sun.

If you show me your bikini I will show you my trunks, just be careful not to get caught in the panic!

I have seen Anna's post. It is disappointing I had hoped she had improved.

I’ve read Rs thread it’s horrendous what’s happening to us all. It’s torture. So hard to keep finding the strength to continue but we have to find the end of the rainbow and peace.

Trunks and yesterday, that's me.

R is having a really tough time not helped by other half who is a GP.

Archbishop Holgates Grammar School, did moderately well but not good enough for my mum.

Driving. About two years ago my eyes started to tire very quickly when driving. Tested twice by optician and photographed, physically they are good.

Realised since WD started  they got much worse very quickly accompanied by  lack of balance and nausea.

Also had poor spatial awareness for a while, not great towing 8 metres of caravan, this has improved.

I am hoping the rest will follow ASAP, really need to get down to York to see my parents.

As for the best friend I keep looking, even picked the phone up to enquire once but did not do so.

As with you and Georgie it is sometimes better to wait until circumstances bring you together.

My dad rescued his last GSD when two farmer's sons were going to shoot him for fun.

He was on their land but no stock around and he was just lost and frightened.

My dad told the police and RSPCA but noone ever claimed him.

So he was spoiled rotten for the next twelve years.
