Feeling good and healthy is too important  ;)

Thanks for your support.

That statement is sooooo true. There is one quote I read in the lifestyle I follow. “Being healthy never tasted so good!!”

I follow The Plant Paradox lifestyle by Dr.Gundry. This lifestyle has given me my life back and I feel better than I have ever felt in my life. It has enabled me to finally get off of this medication and truly live my life. Nutrition is the key to health!!!!!

2008 to 2019  - 20 mg Paroxetine

Attempted 2 CT's around the 5-6 year mark. Were absolutely terrible and reinstated. Was never explained by the doctor the seriousness of the short half life of this drug.

2017 - Attempted a tapered discontinuation of this drug and reinstated after being unsuccessful.

2019 - Feb. 12 - After a three month taper I am off of paroxetine. The 3 months were terrible, awful withdrawal feelings. I followed the doctors guidelines for the reduction of this drug and now know it was way too fast.
2019 - Oct. 12 - 8 months off paroxetine. 75% improvement since coming off the drug. Definitely have had tons of challenges along the way. Let’s go!!!!

2021 - Feb. 12 - 24 months off paroxetine. I have minor challenges now. Tinnitus/Headaches are still around but are reduced by a massive amount.

Feeling really good the last few days. Slight tinnitus/headache and they go away. Fatigue is definitely there but very manageable, I also drink alot of black coffee to combat this. Everyday that passes is another day closer to healing !! :)

Merci!

Hello!

I did a 3 month guided taper by my psychiatrist(25% drop per month) I now know it was WAY too fast. The WD's were extremely tough. I would say I was in a 1/10 happiness in my life. I would say now after being 8 months off paroxetine completely I am at 7/10. Everyday things get better. I do struggle with withdrawals when I do not follow my nutrition plan.

I follow The Plant Paradox lifestyle by Dr.Gundry. This lifestyle has given me my life back and I feel better than I have ever felt in my life. It has enabled me to finally get off of this medication and truly live my life. Nutrition is the key to health!!!!!

Yes, its great that I am off. But after reading so many success stories. Going slow and minimizing the symptoms throughout the process and it also results in less symptoms once you go post zero is the way to go.

Yes! You can and will get there. Keep at it. Its challenging but so worth it!! Yes, the translator is working well! What a great time we live in with being able to communicate around the world through different languages and help each other!

Oui, c'est génial que je sois parti. Mais après avoir lu tant de réussites. Ralentir et minimiser les symptômes tout au long du processus, ce qui entraîne également moins de symptômes une fois que vous allez après zéro est la voie à suivre.

Yes, it absolutely is. Because without a doubt I would be back on the medication if I never seeked help/advice outside of the healthcare system. I just constantly got told it was a relapse of symptoms and that reassured me that I needed it for life... aka chemical imbalance. Which can be controlled with nutrition as your gut produces a majority 80% of your body’s serotonin.

That happened for me 2 times before

I was stuck between the symptomts on drug and off drug; it was like iam obliged to have these poisons to only stop the withdrawals, but I had to forget the person before having these drugs.

To know the reality of antidepressants is really a very good blessing. Iam Arabian and no any arabian know that truth about antidepressants, imagine!!

i wasn't on a certain drug all the period. i took many drugs many times and for no very long period but to simplify.

--fluvoxamine maleate100 mg + amisulpride 200mg------started july 2012 and total taper in february 2015 ( 9 months without drugs then)

--sertraline 100mg -------started november 2015 and total taper (withoud reduction slowly) in november 2016( 4 months withoud drugs then).

--sertraline 100mg + quetiabine 25mg ( started in mars 2016 and for 7 months) then fluvoxamine maleate 100mg again for another 7months and after that a something like to use every drug for 14 days and for about 1.5 years.

--my last drug was trintellix 10 mg ( used it in 12/2018and total taper in 4/2019).

symptomts i have now ( bad concentration and problems in short and long memory+ bad depersonalization).

I know exactly what you mean. It's terrible, but there is progress and the information is getting out there!

Yes, it is great to know the realities of it now and how to combat it. It's just sad that we are lied to and told its all made up.

I explained these symptoms to my psychiatrist at the first appointment after being completely off the drug and he said that no these drugs don't cause these issues(denying fault and not helping his patient with his health). I went back for a 6 month post zero appointment, but this time there was a student in the room. She had great questions and this time he like yes, these drugs are known to cause issues. SO FRUSTRATING! Keep at it. I have kept detailed records of my health and once my autoimmune disease is fully reversed I will be making a video with my view on the situation.

Well it has been a great week. Only downfall is slight insomnia and I don’t want to take melatonin.

I hit a PB in leg press at 590 lbs! My energy is still fluttering but way better than it used to be!

Everyday that passes is one more day closer to being healed!!! Wishing everyone the best!

I stopped taking coffee for my fatigue. But I might have to reconsider. I have been getting hammered with fatigue/anxiety for the last two days. I went to bed at 7 pm tonight and awoke at 12:30 am. I am unable to fall back asleep. Just when you think you are out of the woods! I know this will pass. Just a tiny blip on the radar.

Thanks, I really appreciate it.

I follow The Plant Paradox by Dr.Gundry. It was the best $15 I ever spent in my life. He has all the foods outlined in his book. I am sure you can find a list of the Yes/No lists online.

They haven't completely stopped..but I had a solid 5-6 months of constant headaches/tinnitus. They are now dramatically reduced and only happen every couple days for a few minutes here and there. I just keep going and power through as I know the windows are on the other side of the waves! Have a great day!
