Moderator Emeritus composter Posted November 8, 2019 Moderator Emeritus Share Posted November 8, 2019 Great news, Attila. Glad you are eating healthy and staying active, and the mood issues have not been serious. Are you sticking with the general rule of 10% cuts per month? I'm pretty stable these days, thanks for asking. Just proceeding with a very slow taper, about 5% cuts each month. Apr 2018: Began 10 mg Amitriptyline (for headaches & insomnia from concussion). Jul - Aug 2018: Fast taper to 5 mg and then 2.5 mg (too fast, hellish withdrawal at 2.5 mg). Sept 2018: Reinstated 10 mg (many symptoms improved). Oct 2018 - Apr 2019: Updosed & stabilized on 11 mg (2 waves at 3 and 5 months post-withdrawal). Apr 2019 - Apr 2020: Tapered 0.5-0.25 mg per month using compounded pills: 11 mg —> 6 mg. (2 waves at 12 and 16 months post-withdrawal.) Apr 2020 - present: Switched to a liquid taper at rate of 0.1 mg per month. Currently: 1.1 mg. No more waves. Supplements: Omega-3 fish oil, Vit B12, coenzyme Q10, Hawthorn extract (for tachycardia) Tools for insomnia/waves (as needed): Epsom salt foot soaks, 0.5 mg Melatonin, quality time, waves WILL PASS. Lifestyle: Eat real foods, mostly plants; sunlight, walking, yoga; symptom tracking on adapted Glenmullen chart. Link to comment

Johni
Hi, I reached 6.3 mg 2 weeks ago. Until then, the reduction went quite well, although the combined 10% reduction turned out to be a lot for me, so I reduced the weight of the tablet by 1 mg in every 5 days. I tolerated this quite well. However, the withdrawal was reached me 2 weeks ago. Discomfort and depression. There are 1-2 things that have passed. Would it be worth keeping it longer? Thanks in advance for the answers. Moderator Emeritus ChessieCat Posted July 1, 2020 Moderator Emeritus Share Posted July 1, 2020 Használtam a Google fordítást magyarra. Remélem megértette javaslataimat. Ha megvonási tünetei vannak, 2 választási lehetősége van. A jelenlegi adagot (6,3 mg) megtarthatja mindaddig, amíg a tünetek elmúlnak. I used the Google translation into Hungarian. I hope you understood my suggestions. If you have withdrawal symptoms, you have 2 choices. You can keep your current dose (6.3 mg) until your symptoms go away. If the symptoms are bearable, this is the better option. otherwise You can increase the dose to 6.35 mg (if you can measure this amount) or 6.4 mg. Johni
@Gridley Thanks. I really don't even know how to ask. I was overwhelmed by the displeasure. Will this change during the reduction yet? I’ve read in many places that it’s a constant companion if you can say so. I am still working for now and I hope I will know for a long time to come. Or is there a point when I won’t be able to stand it, so to speak? I hope I’ve managed to express myself well, somehow getting harder these days. Moderator Emeritus Gridley Posted July 7, 2020 Moderator Emeritus Share Posted July 7, 2020 (edited) @Johni Please start a topic about yourself in this forum What are your symptoms? You have made a lot of changes in your dosage since last November, going up and down. This is destabilizing to your system and is making you feel bad. I suggest you make no further changes and stay at your current dose of 26.5 for several months so your nervous system and brain can stabilize. The typical pattern for symptoms is that they come and go. You have what we call waves when things are bad and what we call windows when they get better. So it will be up and down. The Windows and Waves Pattern of Stabilization We don't recommend a lot of supplements on SA, as many members report being sensitive to them due to our over-reactive nervous systems, but two supplements that we do recommend are magnesium and omega 3 (fish oil). Many people find these to be calming to the nervous system. Magnesium, nature's calcium channel blocker Omega-3 fatty acids (fish oil) Add in one at a time and at a low dose in case you do experience problems. Sorry, I misread your signature and got the date confused with your dosage. We recommend tapering by no more than 10% of your current dose every four weeks. 1mg every 5 days is too fast. If you are having significant withdrawal symptoms, it means you are tapering too fast. Why taper by 10% of my dosage? Please don't forget to start an Introduction topic and post there. Johni
at first I cut 10% a month at a time, but it turned out to be too much. Then from March I started taking 1mg of tablet weight every 5 days. Of course, I did holdings that way. I tolerated the much smaller cut much better than the one big one. Now I have exaggerated the last cutting cycle a bit. I wanted to reach -40%. But I realized it really wasn’t a competition. Thanks for the answer. Johni
@Gridley I wonder if you have experienced this symptom of sudden fatigue? Overnight I became a corpse tired. It's been about a week. No matter how much I sleep. Thank you for your answer. I wish you a nice day. Have you done something that stimulates the nervous system too much, such as video games, loud music, bright light, exciting or scary movies? Is there additional stress such as struggle, work problems, longer or harder work, finances, illness? Do you drink alcohol and / or caffeine? Bored because you have nothing to do? Johni
hello ChessieCat. thanks for the answer. I really didn't change anything. Since this fatigue lasts I have been trying to go to bed earlier. I sleep 7.5 hours on average. I don’t really go out to the store just to train and train. I have been training for 7 months. Now I’m trying to relax a bit in the workout although I feel like the workout has a good effect on me. My work is basically stressful but it’s always looser in the summer so it’s good now. I drink coffee yes but so far no problem. I don’t do too much because my interest has left me pretty low. And I was pretty creative 🙁 Thank you for your time. Have a nice day 😊🌞 2023.01.27 1,6 mg 2023.01.29 1,5 mg 2023.02.27 1,35 mg 2023.03.30 1,2 mg 2023.04.18 1,1 mg 04,26 1,05 mg 2023.01.26 1,05 mg 2023.02.27 .27 .20. .21 0,8 mg 2023.07.14 0,65 mg 2023.08.20 0,45 mg 2023.09.20 0,25 mg 2023.11.14 000000000!!!!! Johni
thanks for the answer. What I started recently is magnesium glycinate. My work does not require a lot of mental work, except for enduring 1-2 people 😂. Many of my symptoms have passed since the last cut. started with 5 days of continuous suicidal thoughts which, thanks to god, is a thing of the past na a little depressed feeling left but it is also a thing of the past. Now he is only preoccupied with fatigue and frustration. Thanks for the links. I’m still holding this month, and then I’ll see how to move on. Thanks for the help. I have been struggling with this problem for some time, so to speak. Somehow all my interest ceased. Whatever I’m trying to do is like I can’t connect to things. There really is nothing to upload. It's a bit of an all-out feeling. I have a hard time wearing this. Is this a common thing, so to speak? Thanks. Have a nice day everyone. 2023.01.27 1,6 mg 2023.01.29 1,5 mg 2023.02.27 1,35 mg 2023.03.30 1,2 mg 2023.04.18 1,1 mg 04,26 1,05 mg 2023.01.26 1,05 mg 2023.02.27 .27 .20. .21 0,8 mg 2023.07.14 0,65 mg 2023.08.20 0,45 mg 2023.09.20 0,25 mg 2023.11.14 000000000!!!!!
