Icasdea: Evening withdrawal symptoms

I'm not sure if it's just me (I doubt it) but does anyone else's withdrawal symptoms get worse off in the evening? During the day I'll be fine and dandy and enjoying life, then the late afternoon hits and I start getting dizzy and onset of a headache.

Welcome to SA, Icasdea.

While morning symptoms are more common, symptoms can manifest at any time of the day in almost countless varieties.

What are your symptoms?  So you'll have a better understanding of what you're experiencing, here's some information on withdrawal.

When we take medications, the CNS (central nervous system) responds by making changes over the months and years we take the drug(s). When the medication is discontinued, the CNS has to undo all the changes it made. Rebuilding the neurotransmitter production and reactivating the receptor and transporter cells takes time -- during that rebuilding process symptoms occur.

To give members the best information, we ask them to summarize their medication history in a signature -- drugs, doses, dates, and discontinuations & reinstatements, in the last 12-24 months particularly.

This is your Introduction topic, where you can ask questions and connect with other members.  We're glad you found your way here.
