I am sorry you are having such a rough time but you are now in the right place.

Is Mirtazapine the only drug you are currently taking?

Was the starting dose 15mgs?

How long were you on this drug and why was it prescribed?

Have you taken any antidepressants before this one?

Are you taking any supplements.

Do NOT taper any further off the drug for now.

Who recommended this taper?

Hi i have now been on 0mg for 3 days was very sick this am but headache has eased, i was on mirtazapine from Nov-Dec playing around with dose as i didnt believe i needed them then took for 2 wks at 15mg gp then swopped me to sertraline horrendous time and i stopped them all, feb 19 started taking mirtazapine and took until june at 15mg with 2 wks at 30mg helped for sleep and anxiety, i was prescribed for anxiety and depression, insomnia. I have tapered since June due to my eyes hurting so much and depression not lifted, i actually think i have OCD but starting CBT soon. Im taking Rohdalia zinc passion flower, vit d in am- this has made me feel sick and be sick. Then magnesium and i theanine at night.

Feel real depersonalition at present able to function but need to keep my mood up. Any advice is welcome and to know this is just WD would help x

Welcome, Emsmith.

Did mirtazapine make your eyes hurt? What was that like? Has that lessened now you're off mirtazapine?

Has headache been your major withdrawal symptom? How's your sleep?
