Thanks bro, I knew i shouldn't have taken devenlafaxine, I'm never going to take any medication ever again. And I don't want to kill myself, Its the constant ringing and hatred for my life that make me want to. I don't know how to change or even make new friends.

on sep 1st , I switched to 75mg alternate days and vilozodone 20mg 

today its been 10days all good and getting improved 

one more thing I am doing nofap since last  2months. able to do many 20days streaks.

After 20 days felt the effect and get back on 75mg daily +20mg vilo.

I want you to read my last few post to look at it objectively and give me your valuable advice for further tapering. 

I am on 75mg venlafaxine xr+20mg vilazodone.

I am feeling much better than last year.

Windows and waves comes one's or twice everyday.

Muscle weakness improved slightly then before.

sleep is fine.

fat gain around belly and neck is the worst symptom for me and I feel it is mostly due to meds. fluffy bodies.

 

I am not trying any fat reducing drugs which I thought to, as of now.but I want to get rid of this symptom. cant do much exercise with current strength but still I go to park just 3 days a week ,for a walk , some little weight lift , that time I am having stream of sweating too much , I feel it is mostly due to too much norephenephrine that time which is generated by working out plus meds. too much heat . but then after few hours I feel my norephenephrine levels drops too much and I feel just to lie down. 

 

I started studying for interviews and today is my first interview after few hours. now I know its a LONG war and I cant wait to be happy and cant stop living, so I am trying to live the best I can happily. I am just very scared to to into withdrawal or protracted withdrawal , if it happens then I have to be on bed again which I really don't want as anyone. I have to marry now as its too late in India and in my community around 34 yo. later on it will be very difficult to get married if I delay any further. If I tell my would be spouse about my medical condition  so that only the one who is ready will come into marriage else it may be a lot of drama and stress in future. my parents suggesting my to hide this info as they think no one will be ready.

 

when I went down beyond 75mg to 37.5mg then I started have terrible nightmares of past and lots of emotional release and I was so afraid whenever I wake up due to nightmare, I cried few times. I think it was for about a week or two then I reinstate to go slow and now still having nightmare but not that much.

 

I feel that my brain needs medicine to work but my body gets harming by meds.

 

I am thinking for the next reduction after my current symptoms subside fully may be 3months or 6 months , I don't know because what I know is that I cant reduce any further now as it will increase the symptoms for sure. pls provide your advice.

whenever I reduced med, pressure on head develops, should I wait till this symptom ends or reduce next month?

apr ,may,jun                      =                          225mg effexor                                                        -> 3months

jul                                       =                         150mg effexor + 20mg vilazodone                        ->1 month

aug to present                  =                          75mg effexor + 20mg vilazodone                         ->2 month+

After many more drastic changes in your drugs, even though we urged you many times to stop making such changes, you are now taking 75mg venlafaxine XR and 20mg vilazodone.

 

You have not taken any of our tapering advice. No one here told you to swap 75mg venlafaxine XR for 20mg vilazodone.

 

We cannot keep up with your drug changes. Review every response you've gotten from the staff here in this topic. Please make your own decisions about when and how you want to go off either of these drugs. '

It was my plan and not even the doctors plan....I am listening advices from every source and then follow my heart by trusting my body. initially I surrendered myself totally to doctors hand and now I dont have that much trust on anyone to surrender fully. but I am open to listen all the advices and then follow what I feel best.

I think you got annoyed that I didnt follow your advice then why I ask at the first point. But what you dont understand that thats the way I work 

took advices from multiple sources - analyse myself all the options - then go with my intution.

 

But I think you want to give advice only when it is followed. In that case , you have shut the door for me. SAD.

 

you think I never listened to your advices but below Things that I took from  you guys

1. Trust that tapering is a solution.
2. Going slow then before. Started taper once again .
3. Taking my full venlor once a day.

and few others which I cant remembers, all that you give were not waste. Apart you were a listening ear.

I was having too much side effects on body on 150mg venlor and I knew from last year that If I go lower than this then My brain is not working fine. other types of efffects appearing. 

I dont want the side effects of venlor thats why I asked for another AD so that at least venlor side effects subsides and it does subside. but I have gone to 37.5mg for a week then I saw that cant go that much low so holding. Asthenia got increased because of venlor too much that I was started to not feel my arms and legs but after reducing to 75mg 50% of strength came back to arms and legs muscle.and I am feeling it clearly. I coudnt reduce 75mg sudddenly so I needed something else which might have low side effects that why I took the decision. all of them from you was saying that do a 10% taper it would take many more months to get to 75 mg venlor. Now I may deal with side effects of vilozodone which is definately low then venlor. 

no one from your side suggesting cross taper. why. 

thats why I took from you guys all that I feel which could be correct for me. every person is different. 

you guys was asking me to make micro notes , thats not my personality. i make notes here only, and you know how...so there are few things which was difficult for me  follow but it seems you wants to help only those people who take your full help and not how much they want.

you were saying you help me if I fully surrendered to you guys just like I did to doctors , I cant. then there is no diff in you guys and docs who wont listen to patients.

its dec 2021, I have fully stopped venlor xr successfully and replaced it with vilozodone 40mg which is much much better with least side effects, at least I am most happy and energized like never before and giving interviews after many years.
