Hello, why are you taking sertraline and Klonopin at the same time in the morning? What is the Klonopin supposed to be doing for you?

7:00 woke up feeling detached and anxious 

7:30 breakfast took 62.5 sertraline and .125 klonopin, took Lisinopril and Amlodipine besylate

8:00 read book, check email

8:30 took dog for a walk

11:00 went to the recycling center very anxious 

12:00 lunch

1:00 went to gym felt better

3:00 went to pharmacy to pick up prescriptions

4:00 took dog for a walk felt okay

4:30 took 6.5mgs of luvox feel okay

5:00 watched television feel okay

6:30 dinner feel okay 

7:30 took dog for a walk
7:45 took mirtazapine 7.5

8:00 watched movie anxiety again and intrusive thoughts took Lipitor 

10:30 read in bed starting to calm a little

11:30 sleep

3:20  woke up and couldn’t fall back to sleep anxiety and lots of tingling

4:30  feel back to sleep

7:00am woke up lots of tingling anxious, very tired  listened to body scan tape

@will351 Please do your best to answer Alto's question. It's important, especially since there's a drug interaction between these two drugs, as well as with Lisinopril. You're taking all of those drugs at the same time. Reposting the interaction list:

What should I do about klonopin was told not to withdraw now. Should I just get off the luvox and just deal with withdrawals

You have in your signature, you went from Klonopin .5 mg once a day in 2018 to .25 once a day until November 2019. And now you are at .125 mg Klonopin, as of December 24. You may still be feeling withdrawal from the Klonopin reductions. It may take awhile to recover from these reductions. 

 

The good news is the anxiety is reduced later in the day, so you may already be stabilizing.

I know you just reinstated and are needing to get a schedule set up, so let's work with this first. You started out taking Luvox at 4:30 PM and then moved it to 7:30 AM. Why the change? 

 

Please note this from the above link to adverse drug interactions: Fluvoxamine (Luvox) may increase the blood levels and effects of sertraline.  

 

I would space the Luvox two hours apart from the sertraline and Klonopin. You're taking too many interacting drugs at the same time.

It seems you made a lot of drug switches in 2017, one being from 24 years of sertraline to Effexor. Did your anxiety start after you went off sertraline?

 

You started Klonopin in September 2018? Did the anxiety increase after that?

I'm glad you're able to cope without meds for the skin cancer removal. 

 

Did the stomach cramps start when you reinstated Luvox? It may also be a combination of Luvox with sertraline. Just a reminder about the interaction and the advice to space these drugs out:

Feb 4th. Had an awful night sleeping. I woke up at 1:30 with horrible chest tightness. Had to make myself gag to loosen pressure, fell  back asleep about 3:30 

 

7:30am breakfast took 62.5 sertraline, 3mgs luvox, 

8:00am redressed my skin cancer wounds.

8:30am took dog for a walk

9:00am listened to audio tapes from an anxiety program I bought, the information increased my anxiety. It described to a

               tee what I’ve been feeling

11:30am took .125 klonopin. Had an ensure

1:00pm spent 70 minutes exercising in the gym then grocery store,  calmer in store mild intrusive thoughts

3:00 pm helped my husband stack firewood from outside into the porch

3:30pm took dog for a walk started having feelings of fear, practiced accepting them and not triggering my nervous system
5:00pm watched news, paid bills

7:00pm dinner fear feelings but didn’t go into panic mode worry about getting better

7:30pm watch television and movie not much tingling or physical sensations today.

8:30pm took 7.5 mirtazapine

10:00pm reading in bed  Took Lisinopril, Amlodipine besylate, mirtazipine , fish oil, magnesium felt calm

Do you take lisinopril and amlodipine at night or in the morning? I see you taking them at both times.

 

To identify drug adverse effects, you need to stick to a regular drug schedule.

 

On Saturday you were taking 6mg Luvox (since May), on Sunday, you were taking 3mg Luvox. Did you get any new symptoms after Sunday?

 

Since you added Luvox to sertraline in May, have you felt better or worse?

I am withdrawing from luvox. Started luvox in May, 2019, been on Sertraline since Sept 2019.. Moved blood pressure meds to evening because of drug interactions.

Changing your blood pressure drug schedule by some hours or cutting your Luvox dosage in half may cause odd symptoms.

 

In the last week, what changes have you made in your drugs?

 

Please do not make more than one drug change at a time. Every change should be done gradually and closely observed to see if it causes a change in symptom pattern.

 

Do you feel more anxious or less after you take 62.5mg sertraline with 3mg Luvox?
