Crossovers can help with withdrawal but won't necessarily eliminate symptoms altogether. These drugs all work differently and also have different side effects. I just did a crossover from Ativan to Valium and have more symptoms on the Valium than when I was on the Ativan. I'm now tapering the Valium. Gridley Introduction Lexapro 20 mg since 2004. Just one Introduction topic per member. Post right here for now. Any changes of note recently, alcohol, recreational drugs, situational occurrences, addition of any other drugs or supplements? Have you decreased your present drug sertraline from the 125 mg dose at all, or missed a dose? When did the symptoms start? Did you get a period where you found you had no WD(withdrawal symptoms)? And yes, sometimes symptoms will reoccur in a Waves and Windows pattern. Do you remember? The Waves and Windows pattern of stabilization Are your symptoms like this?: Paresthesia: pins and needles, numbness, tingling, burning sensations, aka neuropathy Sorry to hear you are having symptoms of WD again Deblou. Moderator Emeritus manymoretodays Posted December 2, 2022 Moderator Emeritus Share Posted December 2, 2022 Hi Deblou46, Thanks for answering my questions. 44 minutes ago, Deblou46 said: no but i am going through my menopause This ^ can sometimes throw us off. Anyone dealing with menopause and withdrawal? PMS, PMD, and menstrual cycle issues during withdrawal and after With us being in the holiday season now, and since some do get thrown or find this time of year challenging.........you may wish to just HOLD steady now. And try to manage with any non-drug coping that you can. Pay attention to when you are not having symptoms and keep records for yourself right now. And then in January......hoping you'll feel ready once again, to begin to taper sertraline. AND more confident that you can surf the Waves when they happen. Tips for tapering Zoloft(sertraline) I think you will feel a change, or improvement in symptoms soon. If you spend a lot of time on the computer and mousing.......decrease it. I get that "feels like my mouse hand is asleep" feeling if I over-do my computer time......especially typing or mousing. Pay attention to improvements.......wait for them......they'll come.
